Maximum Door Clearance for Your Ring Doorbell 3 / 3+!
Installing your Ring Doorbell (3/3+ or other removable battery model) on trim set back from brick? Is your door or storm door swing extremely close? This **Full Offset Brick Extension Mount** provides the maximum possible sideways clearance!
It extends your doorbell forward past the brick (select required length) and uses our **Full Offset** design to shift the doorbell body entirely sideways over the brick face, creating vital space next to your door frame. Installs on trim >= 9/16" wide without drilling into brick.
How it Works: Full Offset (Maximum Sideways Shift)
This mount utilizes our unique FULL OFFSET geometry. Your Ring Doorbell attaches so its door-facing edge aligns flush with the side edge of the narrow 9/16" mount base. This pushes the doorbell horizontally as far as possible over the adjacent brick compared to our Standard Offset mounts.
This is the perfect solution when door swing or storm door clearance is the primary concern.
This mount positions the doorbell over or in front of the brick face.

Base Dimensions & Mounting: The extension base is 9/16 inches wide (requires >= 9/16" surface). Standard mounting hole spacing is 2.5 inches (center-to-center). Ensure solid mounting on trim. Wall-mounting screws not included.
Angled Trim? If your trim is angled, add our Angle Shims (sold separately) for a perpendicular installation.
CRITICAL: Measure & Select Your Extension Length!
Choose the correct length to clear your brickwork or storm door. Measure carefully:
- Measure the exact distance straight out from the surface where the mount base will attach (your trim) to the outermost face of your brick or obstacle.
- Order THIS measurement as your required Extension Length. (Do NOT subtract doorbell thickness for offset mounts).
Select the required extension length from the dropdown menu when ordering. (Starts at 1/4 inch).

How to Install Your Full Offset Extension
This mount uses two main printed pieces: the Extension Base (with Full Offset) and the Doorbell Adapter Bracket.

Tools & Prep: Gather: Drill, PH1 & PH2 Philips Screwdrivers/Bits, Level, Anchors (if needed), Ring security screwdriver (often orange, from doorbell box).
Turn OFF power at the breaker if hardwiring! Ensure battery is charged but removed during install.

Mount Extension Base: Position the Extension Base (correct length/offset) on trim over wires (ensure Full Offset provides max clearance). Attach securely using appropriate screws (#6 size likely, use PH2) and anchors into the 2.5" spaced holes.
Ensure base is level. Don't overtighten.

Attach Doorbell Adapter Bracket: Route wires through the Doorbell Adapter Bracket. Align onto Extension Base. Attach using the four small center screws provided (likely #4 screws / PH1 driver).
Use correct PH1 bit. Tighten until flush. Check for/clear debris if needed. Do NOT over-torque.
- Wire Doorbell (If Hardwiring): Connect wires to your Ring Doorbell following Ring's instructions. Tuck excess wire.

Attach Ring Doorbell:
- Take the main body of your Ring Doorbell (with battery removed, faceplate off).
- Align the mounting holes on the back of the doorbell body with the holes on the Doorbell Adapter Bracket.
- Secure the **doorbell body** to the Adapter Bracket using the small screws PROVIDED WITH THIS MOUNT (typically #4 / PH1 driver). Do NOT use Ring's longer wall screws here.
- Re-install the battery (if not hardwired) and snap the Ring faceplate back on. Secure with Ring's security screw(s) at the bottom using the Ring screwdriver.
Use correct drivers/tools for each screw type. Tighten gently. - Final Check & Power On: Ensure doorbell is secure. Turn power back on (if applicable) and test.
Follow safety rules & Ring's guidelines. Use correct anchors/screws for wall type. Correct screwdriver size prevents stripping.
