Is your video doorbell mounted on trim but sunk deep behind your brick facade, making it hard to reach or affecting its view? This extension mount is the perfect solution! It installs on your existing trim and extends your selected doorbell forward, positioning it neatly and accessibly right at the face of the brick.
How it Works: Centered Extension (No Offset)
This mount provides a straight, centered extension. It brings the doorbell directly forward from its mounting point on the trim, keeping it centered relative to the base.
This version has NO HORIZONTAL OFFSET. If you need to shift the doorbell sideways (e.g., further away from the door frame), please see our separate "Offset Brick Extension Mount" listing.
Base Dimensions: The standard extension base is 3 inches long and 9/16 inches wide, fitting most narrow areas. Mounting hole spacing is 2.5 inches. Ensure you have adequate flat mounting surface on your trim behind the brick.
CRITICAL: Measure & Select Your Extension Length!
Choosing the correct extension length is essential for a perfect flush fit. Please measure carefully:
- If you HAVE your doorbell: Measure the distance from the surface where the mount base will attach (your trim) straight out to the very back surface of the doorbell body when held flush against the brick face. Order this exact measurement.
- If you DON'T have your doorbell yet: Measure the total depth from the trim surface straight out to the outer face of the brick. Subtract approximately 1 inch (which accounts for the doorbell thickness). Order this calculated length.
