Installing Your 45° Corner Mount

  1. Confirm fit & hardware. If you ordered custom hole spacing, the base holes are pre-set. Verify the doorbell back-mount holes line up with the bracket pocket.
  2. Turn OFF power at the breaker, remove your existing Ring Wired Plus 2nd Gen, and disconnect the 16-24V wires.
  3. Position the 45° corner base on the inside or outside wall corner; check the aim toward the walkway with a level.
  4. Anchor the base to the corner trim with the provided #6 wall screws using a #2 Phillips screwdriver (drill optional pilot holes).
  5. Attach the doorbell adapter bracket to the mount face with the small center screws (preinstalled in most cases). Use a #1 Phillips PRECISION screwdriver.
  6. Mount the doorbell using the screws PROVIDED WITH THIS MOUNT (NOT the original screws).
  7. Reconnect the wires, restore power, and confirm the field of view. Caulk the top/sides if exposed to rain; leave the bottom open for drainage.

Tools: #2 Phillips screwdriver, #1 Phillips PRECISION screwdriver, drill (optional pilot holes), level, multimeter (wired installs only).

What are the base dimensions?
The narrow corner base is 3/4 inch wide and 2.5 inches long, with 2 inch center-to-center hole spacing (customizable). It mounts at a fixed 45 degree corner angle with about a 1 inch offset from the corner.
Can I change the hole spacing or base length?
Yes. Both are made to order. Hole spacing is customizable from 1-3/8 inch to 4-1/8 inch, including slotted holes, and the base length can be changed with the add-on.
What if I need a different angle?
We also make 15 and 30 degree offset corner mounts, plus an adjustable corner mount (0-90 degrees) to fine-tune the aim.

Will 45 degrees aim the camera enough?
