  1. Tools & Prep: Drill, PH2 Philips (#6 base screws), PH1 Philips (#4 bracket / set screws / doorbell screws — provided preinstalled), wall anchors, level.
    Battery-only is the easy path. Charge the D210 fully via USB-C (~7 hours) BEFORE mounting so you can verify Live View aim at install.
  2. Pair Indoors First: Open the Tapo app, scan QR, connect to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi (D210 doesn't support 5GHz). Pair the included wireless chime within ~100-150ft of mount location.
  3. Plan the Aim Angle: 160° is wide but a side-wall install still wastes 60-80% of the frame on siding without a pivot. 60-90° pivot is typical.
  4. Mount the Base: Position vertically on your siding/trim, secure with #6 screws (PH2 driver). Anchors as needed.
  5. Attach the Bent-Neck Swivel Bracket: Align onto the base with four #4 / PH1 screws.
