TP-Link's value 2025 battery doorbell with 2K 3MP resolution, 160° diagonal ultra-wide view, 6400mAh built-in battery (up to 180 days per charge), color night vision, IP65 weatherproof rating, person detection (free, no subscription), two-way audio, microSD storage up to 512GB, and Alexa/Google Home support.
Body-shared note: The Tapo D210, D225, and D235 share the same physical body, so this bracket also fits the D225 and D235 — but for clarity each model has its own listing tuned to its specs. Does NOT fit: the Tapo D130 (wired-only, different body) or the Tapo D230S1 (older battery model with removable battery and separate sub-G hub kit). Also does not fit Ring, Nest, Wyze, Eufy, Aqara, or any non-Tapo brand.
Confused which Tapo you have? The D210 has a USB-C charging port on the side, an integrated (non-removable) battery, and ships with a square wireless chime. If yours has a removable battery pack and a separate hub puck, that's a D230S1 — different mount.

The D210 is the entry point into Tapo's wireless lineup. No wires to fish, no transformer to upgrade, no chime to wire — pop it on the wall, install the included plug-in chime, and you're recording 2K video with motion-only alerts.
The 160° diagonal field of view is generous, but on most porches the visitor is offset from the wall. This 0-35° dual-axis swivel mount lets you tilt and pan in any direction up to 35°, so the wide-angle frame catches the actual walkway instead of half-frame siding. Lock the angle once with set screws and forget about it.

Internal Wire Routing — Hidden & Protected
Low-voltage wires enter from the wall, pass through the hidden internal channel inside the ball-joint mount, route through the front adapter, and connect directly to the doorbell terminals. No exposed wiring, no weather risk.

Installing on the Tapo D210
- Charge First: Charge the D210 fully via USB-C (about 7 hours from empty per TP-Link). Pair to your Tapo app and the included chime BEFORE mounting — easier indoors.
- Mount the Base: Position vertical or horizontal on your siding/trim, secure with #6 screws (PH2 driver). Anchors as needed.
- Attach the Swivel: Screw onto the base with four #4 / PH1 center screws. (No wires needed unless you're adding optional trickle-charge.)
- Snap the D210 In: Use the screws PROVIDED WITH THIS MOUNT (PH1 driver) — NOT Tapo's stock metal plate.
- Aim & Lock: Live View → adjust the swivel until the 160° frame fully covers your porch path → tighten the set screws.
- Place Chime: Plug the included chime indoors within range of your D210 (typically 100-150ft of clear line of sight). Test the chime ring + announcement.
Battery tip: Cold weather drops 6-month battery life to ~3 months. If your install location sees winter below freezing, plan a recharge schedule or hardwire to existing 8-24V chime power for trickle-charge.
