Custom 15-90° Side-Wall Mount for the Ring Wired Doorbell Pro PoE (2026) — Retinal 4K

Custom-Fit for the Ring Wired Doorbell Pro PoE — Retinal 4K

  • This bracket is shaped specifically for the Ring Wired Doorbell Pro PoE (2026) — Amazon ASIN B0F7TFNLD1. Ring's first PoE-powered 4K Retinal doorbell — same body as the standard Pro 3rd Gen, but powered & networked over a single Cat 5e/6 cable.
  • Does NOT fit: the older Ring Pro 2 (curved back, 1080p), the original Ring Pro (flat with ridges), the Wired Doorbell 2nd Gen, the Wired Doorbell Plus 2nd Gen, the Wired Doorbell Elite, or any battery Ring doorbell. Same body as Pro 3rd Gen — the same bracket fits both, listed separately for SEO clarity.. Each Ring doorbell has its own dedicated mount listing on our store.

PoE-Ready Wide-Angle Swivel — for the 4K Body Sitting on a Side Wall

The Ring Wired Doorbell Pro PoE shares its 4K Retinal body with the standard Pro 3rd Gen — but its single-cable PoE install often lands on a side wall or pillar where the lens points at the wall instead of the visitor. This Adjustable 15-90° Side-Wall Mount solves that geometry while keeping the PoE Cat 5e/6 cable cleanly routed through the mount's internal channel.

PoE installs are often pre-wired during construction, so the cable location can't move. That's exactly the situation this mount was designed for: a fixed cable entry point + a side wall + a 4K sensor that needs to look across the porch, not at the front door trim. Set the angle, lock the set screws, walk away.

Wide Dual-Axis Control (15-90°) — Built for the Retinal 4K Lens

Designed for significant angle correction, this mount features a unique bent-neck swivel joint. Precise aiming control across a 15° to 90° arc relative to the wall — ideal for side-facing views (excels at angles greater than 45°). Fine-tuning is possible both horizontally (left/right) and vertically (up/down). Once the angle is set, the locking set screws hold position permanently — critical for Retinal 4K sharpness on any side-wall install.

Note: this design is optimized for substantial side angles. If you only need a very minor (<15°) adjustment or a straight-ahead view, see our 0-35° Swivel Mount for the Ring Wired Doorbell Pro PoE instead.

Internal Wire Routing — Hidden & Protected

Doorbell wiring (or PoE cable, where applicable) enters from the wall, passes through the hidden internal channel inside the swivel joint, routes through the front Ring Wired Doorbell Pro PoE adapter bracket, and connects directly to the doorbell terminals. No exposed wiring, no weather risk — even at extreme 90° angles.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Wide Adjustable Angle (15-90°): Significant dual-axis swivel built specifically for side-wall / perpendicular installations.
  • Custom-Fit Bracket for Ring Wired Doorbell Pro PoE: Internal channel passes Cat 5e/6 PoE cable cleanly — no exposed RJ45 at the joint.
  • Secure Locking Set Screws: Once you set the angle, it stays. No drift in cold weather, no need to readjust after firmware updates.
  • Wire Pass-Through: Hole in the swivel joint routes the doorbell's power cable neatly — no exposed wiring at the joint.
  • Siding Compatible: Flat surfaces or lapped siding up to 1.8 inches wide.
  • Complete Kit: Adjustable base, custom Ring Wired Doorbell Pro PoE bracket, and all necessary mounting screws.
  • Durable PETG: Sturdy 3D-printed PETG, UV-stable and freeze-tolerant for outdoor use.
  • Side-Wall Problem Solver: Eliminates the "side wall view" issue for proper security coverage of the porch.
  • Future-Proof Base: Base is compatible with future Ring doorbell adapter brackets — when Ring releases the next generation, just swap the small ~$10 adapter. Find replacement brackets here.

We offer solutions for almost any mounting situation:

Installing Your 15-90° Side-Wall Mount on the Ring Wired Doorbell Pro PoE

  1. Tools & Prep: Gather a drill, PH2 Philips (#6 base screws), PH1 Philips (#4 bracket/set/doorbell screws provided), wall anchors if needed, level, and a multimeter.
    PoE 802.3af (15.4W, Class 0) OR standard 16-24V AC 10-40VA (30VA recommended for 4K + WiFi 6 fallback)
  2. Plan the Aim Angle BEFORE Drilling: Stand where a visitor would stand. Visualize the angle from the doorbell location to that spot. 15-90° gives you a wide range — but committing to roughly the right angle before drilling pilot holes saves rework.
  3. Mount the Base: Route any existing doorbell wires through the base hole. Position vertical and attach using #6 screws (PH2 driver) with anchors as needed.
Drill pilot holes if needed. Don't overtighten base screws.
  4. Attach the Swivel Bracket: Route wires through the swivel joint. Align onto the base and attach using four center screws (#4 / PH1 driver).
  5. Set Initial Angle: Adjust the swivel within 15-90° toward the visitor approach. Lightly tighten one or two set screws (#4 / PH1 driver) — final tightening comes after Live View confirmation.
  6. Wire the Ring Wired Doorbell Pro PoE (or seat the battery): If hardwired, connect the two leads to the doorbell screw terminals — polarity doesn't matter for AC. If battery-only, you'll seat the battery at step 8.
  7. Attach the Doorbell to the Bracket: Align the Ring Wired Doorbell Pro PoE with the pre-drilled holes on the custom Ring Wired Doorbell Pro PoE-specific bracket. Secure using the screws PROVIDED WITH THIS MOUNT (#4 / PH1 driver). DO NOT USE the screws or wedge plate that came with your Ring doorbell.
Tighten snugly, do not overtighten. Use the correct PH1 driver for provided screws.
  8. Aim Using Live View & Finalize Set Screws: Restore power (or insert the battery). Open the Ring app → Live View. With Retinal 4K, you'll spot misalignment in detail. Adjust the 15-90° swivel until visitors are centered, then lock the set screws — PoE provides enough headroom for full 4K + AI Pro at any angle.
Do not overtighten set screws — hand-tight is sufficient. Over-tightening can crack the swivel joint.
  9. Tune Smart Notifications + Motion Zones: In the Ring app, redraw motion zones to match the new angle. Side-wall installs benefit from a tighter "porch path" zone — the wider 90° angle catches more peripheral motion (cars passing, mail truck) that you'll want to exclude.

Side-wall tip: extreme 90° angles slightly increase wind load on the doorbell. The set-screw lock is rated for it, but on installs in high-wind regions (coastal, exposed corners), the bracket's wider extension at 90° puts slight pre-loaded weight on the joint — completely fine, just normal for side-wall geometry.

FAQ — Ring Wired Doorbell Pro PoE 15-90° Mount

Will this 15-90° mount fit the Ring Wired Doorbell Pro PoE (2026)?
Yes. The Pro PoE shares the same body as the Pro 3rd Gen, so this custom bracket fits both. The fitment is shaped for the 4K Retinal body, Amazon ASIN B0F7TFNLD1. It will NOT fit the older Ring Pro 2 (curved back), the original Ring Pro (flat with ridges), or any other Ring model.
Does the mount route the Cat 5e/6 PoE cable internally?
Yes. The internal channel through the swivel joint accommodates a standard outdoor-rated Cat 5e or Cat 6 cable with the RJ45 connector. No exposed cable at the joint, no weather risk, even at full 90° pivot. Use an outdoor-rated UV-stable jacket for best longevity.
Do I need a PoE switch, or will a PoE injector work?
Either works. The Pro PoE accepts standard 802.3af (15.4W, Class 0). If your switch isn't PoE-capable, an inexpensive 802.3af injector at the network end will power the doorbell over the same Cat cable. We link recommended injectors in the Amazon callout below.
Can the Pro PoE run on a regular 16-24V transformer instead of PoE?
Yes. The Pro PoE supports both PoE 802.3af AND standard low-voltage AC (16-24V, 10-40VA). PoE is preferred for cleaner installs (one cable does it all), but the AC fallback is useful if PoE isn't available at your install location. A 30VA transformer is recommended for full 4K + WiFi 6 performance.
Is this the right mount, or should I use the 0-35° version?
Use the 15-90° version when the install location is on a side wall, an outside corner, or a deep jamb where the doorbell would otherwise face the wall. Use the 0-35° version when the doorbell is on a flat wall facing the visitor and you only need fine-tune aim correction.
Will Ring AI Pro Smart Notifications still work accurately at extreme angles?
Yes. AI Pro analyzes the video feed from the doorbell itself — the angle doesn't matter as long as the framing is consistent. After install, redraw motion zones to match the side-wall geometry so AI Pro detects people on the porch path, not cars passing.
How weatherproof is this 3D-printed mount?
We print in UV-stable PETG (not PLA), rated for outdoor use across the temperature range most homes see. The internal cable channel keeps water away from the connection. Field installs are routinely 4+ years old without UV degradation or freeze cracks.
