Custom-Fit for the Ring Wired Doorbell Plus 2nd Gen — Retinal 2K

  • This bracket is shaped specifically for the Ring Wired Doorbell Plus (2nd Gen, 2025) — Amazon ASIN B0F9CN26NX. Ring's mid-tier wired doorbell with Retinal 2K head-to-toe, Color Pre-Roll, and Bird's Eye View.

Bent-Neck Swivel for Tough Side-Wall Geometry

If your Ring Wired Doorbell Plus 2nd Gen is sitting on a side wall, an outside corner, or a deep door jamb, the standard flat-back mount points it at exactly the wrong thing. This Adjustable 15-90° Side-Wall Mount uses a bent-neck dual-axis pivot to swing the Plus body outward and lock the angle so it actually sees visitors.

The Plus 2nd Gen's wider Retinal 2K head-to-toe lens is generous, but generosity doesn't help if you're framing siding. Once you set the side-wall angle here and tighten the set screws, the doorbell holds position permanently — even after Ring firmware updates and seasonal temperature swings.

Wide Dual-Axis Control (15-90°) — Built for the Retinal 2K Lens

Designed for significant angle correction, this mount features a unique bent-neck swivel joint. Precise aiming control across a 15° to 90° arc relative to the wall — ideal for side-facing views (excels at angles greater than 45°). Fine-tuning is possible both horizontally (left/right) and vertically (up/down). Once the angle is set, the locking set screws hold position permanently — critical for Retinal 2K sharpness on any side-wall install.

Note: this design is optimized for substantial side angles. If you only need a very minor (<15°) adjustment or a straight-ahead view, see our 0-35° Swivel Mount for the Ring Wired Doorbell Plus 2nd Gen instead.

Internal Wire Routing — Hidden & Protected

Doorbell wiring (or PoE cable, where applicable) enters from the wall, passes through the hidden internal channel inside the swivel joint, routes through the front Ring Wired Doorbell Plus 2nd Gen adapter bracket, and connects directly to the doorbell terminals. No exposed wiring, no weather risk — even at extreme 90° angles.

Customization & Add-On Options

We offer solutions for almost any mounting situation:

Installing Your 15-90° Side-Wall Mount on the Ring Wired Doorbell Plus 2nd Gen

  1. Tools & Prep: Gather a drill, PH2 Philips (#6 base screws), PH1 Philips (#4 bracket/set/doorbell screws provided), wall anchors if needed, level, and a multimeter.
16-24V AC, 10-40VA (30VA recommended for Pre-Roll capture and continuous Live View)
  2. Plan the Aim Angle BEFORE Drilling: Stand where a visitor would stand. Visualize the angle from the doorbell location to that spot. 15-90° gives you a wide range — but committing to roughly the right angle before drilling pilot holes saves rework.
  3. Mount the Base: Route any existing doorbell wires through the base hole. Position vertical and attach using #6 screws (PH2 driver) with anchors as needed.
Drill pilot holes if needed. Don't overtighten base screws.
  4. Attach the Swivel Bracket: Route wires through the swivel joint. Align onto the base and attach using four center screws (#4 / PH1 driver).
  5. Set Initial Angle: Adjust the swivel within 15-90° toward the visitor approach. Lightly tighten one or two set screws (#4 / PH1 driver) — final tightening comes after Live View confirmation.
  6. Wire the Ring Wired Doorbell Plus 2nd Gen (or seat the battery): If hardwired, connect the two leads to the doorbell screw terminals — polarity doesn't matter for AC. If battery-only, you'll seat the battery at step 8.
  7. Attach the Doorbell to the Bracket: Align the Ring Wired Doorbell Plus 2nd Gen with the pre-drilled holes on the custom Ring Wired Doorbell Plus 2nd Gen-specific bracket. Secure using the screws PROVIDED WITH THIS MOUNT (#4 / PH1 driver). DO NOT USE the screws or wedge plate that came with your Ring doorbell.
Tighten snugly, do not overtighten. Use the correct PH1 driver for provided screws.
  8. Aim Using Live View & Finalize Set Screws: Restore power (or insert the battery). Open the Ring app → Live View. The Plus's wider 2K head-to-toe field of view makes side-wall alignment obvious — adjust the 15-90° swivel until the path to your door is centered, then lock the set screws.
Do not overtighten set screws — hand-tight is sufficient. Over-tightening can crack the swivel joint.
  9. Tune Smart Notifications + Motion Zones: In the Ring app, redraw motion zones to match the new angle. Side-wall installs benefit from a tighter "porch path" zone — the wider 90° angle catches more peripheral motion (cars passing, mail truck) that you'll want to exclude.

Side-wall tip: extreme 90° angles slightly increase wind load on the doorbell. The set-screw lock is rated for it, but on installs in high-wind regions (coastal, exposed corners), the bracket's wider extension at 90° puts slight pre-loaded weight on the joint — completely fine, just normal for side-wall geometry.

FAQ — Ring Wired Doorbell Plus 2nd Gen 15-90° Mount

Will this 15-90° swivel mount fit the Ring Wired Doorbell Plus 2nd Gen (2025)?
Yes. This bracket is custom-shaped for the Ring Wired Doorbell Plus 2nd Gen (2025), Amazon ASIN B0F9CN26NX. It will NOT fit the smaller Ring Wired Doorbell 2nd Gen, the Pro 3rd Gen, the Pro PoE, the Elite, or any battery Ring.
How is the Plus 2nd Gen mount different from the standard Wired 2nd Gen mount?
The Plus body is slightly larger and uses a different back profile to accommodate Color Pre-Roll and Bird's Eye View hardware. The pocket bracket is shaped specifically for that profile — so the Plus version sits flush, while the standard Wired bracket would leave a gap and let weather in.
Will the bent-neck 15-90° pivot block any of the Plus's sensors or speaker?
No. The bracket pocket is cut around the speaker grille, motion sensor window, and IR LEDs so all sensors operate as designed. The pivot joint sits behind the doorbell and routes the 16-24V wires through the internal channel — no obstruction at any aim angle.
Can I install on vinyl siding, brick, Hardie, or stucco?
Yes — vinyl siding via our Vinyl Siding Adapter (no drilling into the siding), brick via our Brick Extension, Hardie via our Hardie Siding Mount, stucco directly with masonry anchors. The 1.8" base footprint covers most lap-siding profiles flush.
What's included and what tools do I need?
Kit includes the 15-90° swivel base, custom Plus 2nd Gen bracket, locking set screws, mounting screws (#6 PH2 + #4 PH1), and wall anchors. Bring a drill, Philips PH1 + PH2 driver, level, and multimeter (to verify 16-24V at the doorbell terminals).
Will Pre-Roll, Bird's Eye View, and Smart Notifications still work?
Yes. All Plus 2nd Gen features run on the doorbell itself — the mount is purely mechanical. After the install, redraw motion zones in the Ring app to match the new side-wall framing so Pre-Roll fires on porch motion, not on cars passing by.
Is this the right mount if my doorbell is just a few degrees off-angle?
No. For minor (<15°) corrections on flat walls, use the 0-35° Swivel Mount for the Wired Plus 2nd Gen instead. The 15-90° version is engineered for substantial side-wall geometry where you need to swing the camera 30°-90° outward.
