Standard Offset Brick Extension for the Tapo Doorbell Pro D260 4K Video Doorbell (Wired or Battery, 2026) — Clear Storm Doors & Brick

✔ Made in USA✔ Free Shipping Over $100✔ Ships in 2-3 Business Days✔ 30-Day Replacement Guarantee✔ Photo-Reviewed Every Order

Storm door swinging into your Tapo Doorbell Pro D260, or brick blocking half of its 180° view? This Standard Offset Brick Extension brings the doorbell forward and slightly sideways on a slim 9/16-inch base, cut to the exact depth you need — the usual fix for storm-door clearance or getting the 4K camera out of a recessed corner.

The front of the extension is printed with a bracket for the Tapo D260. Select TP-Link Tapo D260 and your depth. Hardwired wires run inside the extension; battery installs just leave the channel empty.

Printed in the USA from weather-tough PETG, cut to your depth. Replacement Guarantee included; free shipping over $100. Doorbell specs at Tapo.com.

Your depth decides the price. 52 depths from 1/4 inch to 8 inches; 3 inches is the most common. Measure first (guide below) — we swap a wrong depth free.

Tapo Option for This Standard Offset Extension

Choose TP-Link Tapo D260 in the Doorbell Model dropdown, then your depth.

  • Tapo Doorbell Pro D260 (2026) — TP-Link's first 4K doorbell: 180° diagonal head-to-toe view, radar plus PIR motion sensing, color night vision, and local microSD storage (up to 512 GB) with no subscription required. Runs on its rechargeable battery (rated up to 180 days) or hardwired to 8-24V AC. IP66 weather rating, dual-band 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi. Body size about 5.73 × 2.57 × 1.42 inches. Important: This bracket is cut for the D260 body only. It does not fit the Tapo D130, D205, D210, D225, D230 or D235 — those use their own brackets, which you will find in our Tapo doorbell mounts collection.

CRITICAL: How to Measure for the Standard Offset Brick Extension

Brick extensions are custom-cut to your exact depth. Two ways to measure:

Method A — You HAVE your doorbell: The default 3-inch size fits most storm-door and standard 3-inch brick installs. Choose the size that matches your gap.

Method B — You DON'T have your doorbell yet: Choose the size matching the gap between your trim and where the doorbell needs to end up.

Standard Offset — forward and a little sideways. Best for storm-door clearance, a wider view, or getting out of a corner. For the most side clearance use the Full Offset; to sit flush with the brick use the Brick Face Extension.

Brick Extension Add-Ons

Installing Your Standard Offset Brick Extension on a Tapo D260

  1. Order the right version: Choose TP-Link Tapo D260 and your extension depth in the dropdowns.
  2. Remove the old doorbell: Hardwired? Power down at the breaker and disconnect both wires. Battery D260? Release it from its Tapo bracket and set it aside.
  3. Route the wires (hardwired only): Thread the doorbell wires through the back of the extension so they exit at the front.
  4. Mount the extension base: Position the extension on the trim, check it with a level, and fasten with the included #6 wood screws (#2 Phillips). Pilot holes help in hardwood.
  5. Attach the bracket: Attach the D260 bracket to the extension front using the small center screws. Use a #1 Phillips PRECISION driver.
  6. Mount the doorbell: Attach the wires to the D260 terminals if hardwired, then seat the doorbell on the bracket with the screws PROVIDED WITH THIS MOUNT.
  7. Finish up: Restore power or press the power button, then verify the camera view in the Tapo app.

Tools: #2 Phillips screwdriver, #1 Phillips PRECISION screwdriver, drill (optional pilot holes), level. Multimeter only if you hardwire.

FAQ — Standard Offset Brick Extension for the Tapo D260

How do I pick the right depth?
Measure the gap between your trim and where the doorbell needs to sit. The 3-inch default works for most storm doors and standard brick.
What if the depth is wrong?
The Replacement Guarantee covers a free swap to the correct depth. Contact us before installing.
Does this fit other Tapo doorbells?
No — the bracket is for the D260 only. Other Tapo models are in our Tapo collection.
Does it matter if my D260 is on battery or hardwired?
No. The bracket is the same either way. If you hardwire, the two low-voltage wires pass through the mount to the D260 terminals. If you run on battery, nothing passes through — just leave the wire channel empty. You can still take the doorbell off to charge it with the USB-C cable.
Will you look at my setup before shipping?
Yes — upload photos with the photo upload option on this listing and we review them before the order ships.
What color is it?
Black by default; brick colors and others are in the color options on this page.
Does it hold up to weather?
Yes. UV-stable PETG handles sun, rain and freezing temperatures.
