Installing Your Standard Offset Brick Extension on a Blink Doorbell

  1. Identify your Blink model and pick it from the variant dropdown above. We ship the matching screw kit. Verify the doorbell back-mount holes match the bracket pocket before installing.
  2. Remove your existing Blink from the wall. If wired (2K+ Wired or 2nd Gen wired install), turn off power at the breaker first and disconnect the two leads. For battery models, just pop the doorbell off the mounting plate.
  3. Wire routing: For hardwired installs, lead the 16-24V doorbell wires through the rear cavity of the extension to the front.
  4. Mount the extension base to your wall: Position over the existing mounting surface. Anchor with the provided #6 wood screws using a #2 Phillips screwdriver.
  5. Attach the doorbell adapter bracket: Fasten the Blink adapter plate to the extension front with the small center screws (preinstalled). Use #1 Phillips PRECISION screwdriver.
  6. Mount the Blink doorbell: Slot the body onto the bracket using the screws PROVIDED WITH THIS MOUNT (the ones in your model-specific kit — NOT the original Blink screws).
  7. Restore power if applicable and verify field of view in the Blink app.
