Full Offset Brick Extension for the Tapo Doorbell Pro D260 4K Video Doorbell (Wired or Battery, 2026) — Maximum Clearance Past the Brick

✔ Made in USA✔ Free Shipping Over $100✔ Ships in 2-3 Business Days✔ 30-Day Replacement Guarantee✔ Fit Verified Before It Ships

When the trim is skinny and the brick sticks out beside it, a Tapo Doorbell Pro D260 mounted flat ends up staring at the masonry. The Full Offset Brick Extension moves the doorbell completely past the edge of its 9/16-inch base — the most sideways clearance we make — so the 180° head-to-toe view clears the brick and the storm door swings free.

The front carries a bracket printed for the Tapo D260; pick TP-Link Tapo D260 and your depth. Hardwired or battery, the mount is the same.

USA-made from UV-stable PETG and printed to your exact depth. Free shipping over $100. Learn more about the doorbell at Tapo.com.

Full Offset vs. Standard Offset. Both move the D260 forward. Full Offset also shifts it fully sideways off the base for maximum brick clearance; Standard Offset shifts it only a little. Not sure? Send a photo of your trim.

Important: This bracket is cut for the D260 body only. It does not fit the Tapo D130, D205, D210, D225, D230 or D235 — those use their own brackets, which you will find in our Tapo doorbell mounts collection.

CRITICAL: How to Measure for the Full Offset Brick Extension

Brick extensions are custom-cut to your exact depth. Two ways to measure:

Method A — You HAVE your doorbell: Measure from the trim surface to where you want the BACK of the D260 to sit. The 3-inch default clears most storm doors and standard brick.

Method B — You DON'T have your doorbell yet: Measure the gap between your trim and the brick edge (or the storm-door swing) and add any extra clearance you want.

Full Offset — the doorbell moves fully past the edge of the base for the most side clearance. For a smaller shift use the Standard Offset; to sit flush with the brick use the Brick Face Extension.

Brick Extension Add-Ons

Installing Your Full Offset Brick Extension on a Tapo D260

  1. Order the right version: Choose TP-Link Tapo D260 and your extension depth in the dropdowns.
  2. Remove the old doorbell: Hardwired? Power down at the breaker and disconnect both wires. Battery D260? Release it from its Tapo bracket and set it aside.
  3. Route the wires (hardwired only): Feed both low-voltage wires through the rear channel of the extension so they exit behind the bracket.
  4. Mount the extension base: Position the extension on the trim, check it with a level, and fasten with the included #6 wood screws (#2 Phillips). Pilot holes help in hardwood.
  5. Attach the bracket: Attach the D260 bracket to the extension front using the small center screws. Use a #1 Phillips PRECISION driver.
  6. Mount the doorbell: Attach the wires to the D260 terminals if hardwired, then seat the doorbell on the bracket with the screws PROVIDED WITH THIS MOUNT.
  7. Finish up: Restore power or press the power button, then verify the camera view in the Tapo app.

Tools: #2 Phillips screwdriver, #1 Phillips PRECISION screwdriver, drill (optional pilot holes), level. Multimeter only if you hardwire.

FAQ — Full Offset Brick Extension for the Tapo D260

Should I pick Full Offset or Standard Offset?
Full Offset when the brick is directly beside the trim and you need the doorbell completely clear of it. Standard Offset when you mostly need forward clearance for a storm door.
How do I pick the depth?
Measure from the trim surface to where the back of the doorbell needs to sit. 3 inches is the most common. Wrong depth? We swap it free.
Does this fit the D225 or D130?
No. The bracket is for the D260 only; the other Tapo bodies are in our Tapo collection.
Does it matter if my D260 is on battery or hardwired?
No. The bracket is the same either way. If you hardwire, the two low-voltage wires pass through the mount to the D260 terminals. If you run on battery, nothing passes through — just leave the wire channel empty. You can still take the doorbell off to charge it with the USB-C cable.
Can I send photos first?
Yes — use the photo upload option on this listing and we review your trim, brick and doorbell before shipping.
Does it come in a brick color?
Yes — Black is the default, and brick-matching colors are in the color options on this page.
Is it built for outdoors?
Yes — UV-stable PETG designed for year-round weather.
