Brick running right up to your door trim can leave no room for the SimpliSafe 2K Series 2. This Full Offset Brick Extension moves the doorbell sideways over the brick edge so it hangs straight, clear of the masonry, and still lands on your existing wires. It slides the doorbell all the way sideways over the edge of the brick, for when the trim butts right up against a brick wall.

The doorbell bracket on the front of this extension is printed for one SimpliSafe model. Select SimpliSafe 2K Series 2 or SimpliSafe 1080P along with your depth.

CRITICAL: How to Measure for the Full Offset Brick Extension

Brick extensions are custom-cut to your exact depth. Two ways to measure:

Method A — You HAVE your doorbell: Default 3-inch depth suits most side-of-brick installs with standard-thickness brick.
Method B — You DON'T have your doorbell yet: Pick the depth that matches your gap. A larger number pushes the doorbell farther forward.

Full Offset — the biggest sideways shift. Use it when the trim meets the brick edge and the doorbell has to clear over the side of the brick. For storm-door clearance choose the Standard Offset; to sit flush with the brick face choose the Brick Face Extension.

Installing Your Full Offset Brick Extension on a SimpliSafe Doorbell

  1. Pick model and depth: Select your SimpliSafe doorbell and your measured depth before ordering.
  2. Disarm first: Disarm your SimpliSafe system — removing the doorbell while armed can trip a tamper alert.
  3. Remove the old doorbell: Turn off the breaker feeding the doorbell transformer, remove the doorbell, and disconnect the two wires.
  4. Route the wires: Pull the 16-24V doorbell wires through the hollow rear cavity and out the front of the extension.
  5. Mount the extension base: Seat the base on the trim and drive the provided #6 wood screws with a #2 Phillips screwdriver.
  6. Attach the bracket: Fasten the SimpliSafe bracket to the front of the extension with the small center screws. #1 Phillips PRECISION screwdriver required.
  7. Mount the doorbell: Connect the wires (polarity doesn’t matter on AC) and mount the doorbell to the bracket using the screws PROVIDED WITH THIS MOUNT.
  8. Finish up: Restore power, re-arm, and confirm the view in the SimpliSafe app. Caulk the top and sides if exposed to driving rain; leave the bottom open to drain.

Tools: #2 Phillips screwdriver, #1 Phillips PRECISION screwdriver, drill (optional pilot holes), level, multimeter.
