Fixed 45° Corner Mount for the Cove Doorbell Cam — 3/4" Narrow Base
This is a fixed 45° corner mount for the Cove Doorbell Cam. It tucks into an outside or inside wall corner, holds the Cove at a hard 45 degree outward angle, and pushes it about an inch forward of the corner vertex so trim and frames do not get in the way. The wall footprint is only 3/4 inch wide, which is why it fits corners and slim trim where nothing else will. The front plate is pre-drilled for the Cove Doorbell Cam.
Buy this one when your only mounting spot is a corner and you need to see down the wall rather than straight out from it. Cove publishes the doorbell's own specs on the Cove Doorbell Camera page.
Read the Fit Notes Before Ordering
- Doorbell Model is already set to Cove Doorbell Cam (2026) — the adapter bracket ships drilled for it.
- A 45 degree mount in a true 90 degree corner suits slimmer doorbells, roughly 2 inches wide or less. A wider doorbell has to be set 1/4 inch to 1 inch off the corner edge to clear the adjacent wall. Either is a perfectly good install — it just changes where you put the screws.
- We have not measured a Cove Doorbell Cam in a 90 degree corner ourselves yet. If your corner is tight, text us a photo of the corner with a tape measure in frame and we will tell you honestly whether it seats flush or needs the small offset. We would rather spend two minutes on that than have you return a part.
- Door swing warning: a 45 degree angle pushes the doorbell further out from the wall than a flat mount. On narrow trim right next to a door that opens outward, the doorbell can get clipped. Check your swing before you drill.
What the 45° Angle Buys You
A doorbell sitting flat in a corner sees almost nothing useful — half the frame is the wall six inches away. Turning it 45 degrees aims the Cove straight down one of the two walls, which is normally exactly where the walkway, the driveway or the porch steps are. You get a usable approach view instead of a close-up of your own siding.
- Fixed 45 degrees — no joint to loosen, nothing to drift, nothing to re-aim.
- About 1 inch forward of the corner vertex, which clears most trim edges and frame returns.
- Ultra-narrow 3/4 inch footprint, so it fits where a standard base physically cannot.
If a fixed angle is not flexible enough, our adjustable swivel mounts cover a range of angles instead — and we also make a 30° corner version if 45 is more turn than you want.

Why This Mount Exists
- Fits real corners. The 3/4 inch base is the narrowest we make for a corner.
- Serious angle. 45 degrees is enough to actually look down a wall, not just nudge the view.
- Nothing to adjust or retighten. A fixed angle cannot drift when the button is pressed.
- Standard 2 inch holes — frequently a direct reuse of existing holes, and customizable if yours are different.
- Cove-specific bracket so the doorbell sits flat and square.
- Replaceable top plate. Change doorbells later and keep the base — just order a new adapter bracket.

Two things worth having with a battery doorbell: a plug-in wireless chime receiver so you hear it in the back of the house, and a spare USB-C charging cable so recharging does not mean hunting for one. The Cove Doorbell Cam is sold directly by Cove.
How to Install Your Cove 45° Corner Mount
- Gather tools. Drill or driver, PH1 and PH2 Phillips bits, a level, and anchors if the corner is not solid wood.
- Turn off the breaker if you are hardwiring. Battery-only installs can skip this.
- Dry-fit the base in the corner and point the angled face toward the view you want. Now swing your door and make sure the doorbell will not be in the way. This is the step people skip and regret.
- Mark and drill pilot holes. The base screws to one side of the corner through the 2 inch spaced holes.
-
Screw the base down with #6 screws (PH2) and anchors if needed. Check it is plumb vertically before the final turn.
Do not overtighten. A printed part pulled hard into an uneven corner can crack.
- Attach the Cove adapter bracket to the angled face with the small #4 screws (PH1), routing any wire through first. Snug it until flush.
- Wire the doorbell if applicable, per Cove's instructions, and tuck the slack in.
- Hang the Cove Doorbell Cam using the screws provided with this mount — not the stock Cove wall screws.
- Power on and test. Check the app view, press the button, and swing the door one more time with the doorbell actually on there.
Unless you ask for something custom, this ships with the standard ~1 inch extension from the corner. Custom extension lengths are available for an extra charge.
Questions About Corner Mounting
Will my Cove fit flush in a tight 90 degree corner?
Depends on how wide your Cove sits on the bracket. Doorbells around 2 inches wide or less usually drop right in; wider ones need the mount set a fraction of an inch off the corner. Send us a photo and we will tell you which applies to yours — we will not guess at your expense.
Can I use the holes from my old doorbell button?
Often yes. The base uses 2 inch center-to-center spacing, which is a very common button spacing. And if yours is different, we will print it to match.
Is 45 degrees too much?
It is a lot of turn, and that is the point for corners. If you only need a nudge, ask about our 30 degree corner mount or an adjustable swivel instead.
Can the angle be adjusted after installation?
No — this is a fixed mount, which is what makes it so solid. If you want to change the aim later, you want one of our swivel mounts.
What about an inside corner instead of an outside corner?
It works in both, but the geometry differs. Send photos and we will confirm before you order.
