Side-Wall Aim for the Quick-Release C31

The C31 is built for installer convenience — it works wired or battery, and the battery slides out the bottom without removing the doorbell. This 15-90° swivel mount respects that design: the adapter bracket leaves the C31's bottom edge exposed so you can pop the battery for charging without unscrewing anything. Aim 15° for a slight side-wall correction, or all the way to 90° for a true perpendicular install on a porch column.

C31 ships with quick-release battery design — the mount keeps the bracket open at the bottom so you can pop the battery without uninstalling.

Customization & Add-On Options

Installing on the Eufy C31

  1. Tools & Prep: Drill, PH2 Philips (#6 base screws), PH1 Philips (#4 bracket/set/doorbell screws provided), wall anchors if needed, level, multimeter (only if hardwiring).
    5-12V DC (battery), 8-24V AC (wired). Quick-release battery means you charge without removing the mount.
  2. Decide Power Mode First: If hardwiring, turn off the doorbell circuit at the breaker. If battery-only, skip the breaker step.
  3. Mount the Base: Pull doorbell wires through (if hardwiring), attach with #6 screws (PH2 driver) and anchors as needed.
  4. Attach the Swivel Bracket: Route wires through the swivel joint (skip if battery), then screw the swivel onto the base with four #4 / PH1 center screws.
  5. Set Initial Angle: Adjust within 15-90° toward the visitor approach. Lightly tighten one or two set screws.
  6. Wire (or Charge) the C31: If hardwiring, connect the leads. If battery-only, fully charge before mounting.
  7. Attach the Doorbell to the Bracket: Use the screws PROVIDED WITH THIS MOUNT (#4 / PH1 driver). DO NOT USE Eufy's stock screws or back plate.
  8. Aim Using Live View: Open eufy Security app → Live View. Adjust through 15-90° until porch path is centered, then fully tighten the set screws.
  9. Tune Motion Zones: Redraw motion zones to match the new angle.
