Installing Your 15-90° Side-Wall Mount on the Wyze Video Doorbell Pro

  1. Tools & Prep: Drill, PH2 Philips (#6 base screws), PH1 Philips (#4 bracket / set screws / doorbell screws — provided preinstalled to the bracket), wall anchors if needed, level, plus a multimeter if you're wiring to existing chime power.
    Battery-only is the easy path — just charge the doorbell first. If wiring to chime for trickle-charge: turn breaker OFF first. The Pro accepts 16-24V AC at the chime location.
  2. Plan the Aim Angle BEFORE Drilling: Stand where a visitor would stand and visualize the angle from doorbell to that spot. 15-90° gives a wide range — commit to roughly the right angle before drilling pilot holes to save rework.
  3. Charge the Pro First: Top off the Pro via USB-C (about 5 hours from empty) so you can verify Live View aim during install. The Pro ships partially charged.
  4. Mount the Base: Pull wires through the base hole (only if wiring to chime), position vertically on your siding/trim, and attach using #6 screws (PH2 driver) with anchors as needed.
    Drill pilot holes for hard trim wood. Don't overtighten base screws.
