  1. Tools & Prep: Drill, PH2/PH1 Philips, anchors, level, multimeter.
  2. Verify Mechanical Chime: Confirm chime is mechanical (not digital). If digital, install SimpliSafe Chime Power Kit first.
  3. Power Down: Breaker OFF. Verify dead with tester.
  4. Pair via SimpliSafe App: Add doorbell to Gen 3 panel. Verify monitoring works.
  5. Plan Aim Angle: Side-wall = 60-90° pivot.
  6. Mount the Base: Pull wires through, vertically, #6 screws.
  7. Attach Bent-Neck Swivel: Route wires, four #4 / PH1 screws.
  8. Set Initial Angle: Adjust through 15-90°.
  9. Connect & Mount Doorbell: Connect 8-24V wires. Use screws PROVIDED WITH THIS MOUNT (preinstalled). Do NOT use SimpliSafe stock plate.
