Installing Your 15-90° Swivel Mount on a SimpliSafe Doorbell

  1. Choose the right model: Pick 2K Series 2 or 1080P in the dropdown; that selection determines which bracket ships.
  2. Disarm first: Put your SimpliSafe system in disarmed mode; a doorbell removal can register as tampering.
  3. Remove the old doorbell: Kill power at the breaker, remove the doorbell from the wall and free the two doorbell wires.
  4. Feed the wires and mount the base: Pull the doorbell wires through the base, set it on the wall, and anchor with the provided #6 wood screws and a #2 Phillips screwdriver.
  5. Swing and lock: Rotate the swivel 15-90° until the doorbell faces the main entry, then tighten to lock.
  6. Attach the bracket: Secure the SimpliSafe bracket to the swivel head with the preinstalled center screws. #1 Phillips PRECISION screwdriver.
  7. Mount the doorbell: Land the two wires on the doorbell terminals and secure the doorbell to the bracket with the screws PROVIDED WITH THIS MOUNT.
  8. Finish up: Power up, re-arm SimpliSafe, and adjust Activity Zones for the new angle.
