Installing Your 15-90° Side-Wall Mount on the Eufy Video Doorbell E340

  1. Decide Power Mode First: If you're hardwiring (16-24V AC), turn OFF the doorbell circuit at the breaker. If you're going battery-only, you can skip the breaker step entirely.
    If hardwiring: confirm power is off with a multimeter before stripping wires. The E340 needs 16-24V AC at the existing chime location.
  2. Tools & Prep: Gather a drill, PH2 Philips (#6 base screws), PH1 Philips (#4 bracket/set/doorbell screws), wall anchors if needed, level, and (for wired installs) a multimeter.
  3. Plan the Aim Angle BEFORE Drilling: Stand where a visitor would stand. Visualize the angle from the doorbell location to that spot. 15-90° gives you a wide range — but committing to roughly the right angle before drilling pilot holes saves rework. The E340's downward package camera is sensitive to extreme tilt — aim for the side correction first, then check the package zone covers the doorstep.
