Installing on the Aqara G400

  1. Tools & Prep: Drill, PH2/PH1 Philips, anchors, level. RJ45 crimper or pre-terminated CAT5e/CAT6.
  2. Pull Cable: CAT5e/CAT6 from PoE switch (or 8-24V wires).
  3. Test Before Mounting: Connect on bench, verify Live View in Aqara app.
  4. Plan Aim Angle: 3:4 head-to-toe: TOP on faces, BOTTOM on doormat. Side-wall = 60-90°.
  5. Mount the Base: Pull cable through, vertically, #6 screws.
  6. Attach Bent-Neck Swivel: Route cable, four #4 / PH1 screws.
  7. Set Initial Angle: Adjust through 15-90°.
  8. Connect & Mount Doorbell: Plug RJ45 (or wires). Use screws PROVIDED WITH THIS MOUNT (preinstalled). Do NOT use Aqara stock plate.
  9. Aim & Lock: Live View, tilt/pan until 3:4 frame covers porch top-to-bottom. Tighten set screws.
