Extend Your Ring Wired Doorbell Plus (Pro 1) Past Brick with Standard Offset!
Is your Ring Wired Doorbell Plus (formerly Pro) installed on trim that's set back from your brick or stone? Need clearance for a storm door? This Standard Offset Brick Extension Mount brings your doorbell forward for better visibility and provides a moderate sideways shift.
It mounts easily to your existing trim (minimum 9/16" wide) without drilling into masonry, positioning your Pro 1 correctly relative to the brick face.
How it Works: Standard Offset (5/8")
This mount features our popular STANDARD OFFSET. The center of your Ring Wired Doorbell Plus will be shifted approximately 5/8 inches horizontally towards the brick side relative to the center of the narrow 9/16" mount base.
This positions the doorbell partially over the adjacent brick and provides good door clearance.
Base Dimensions: 9/16" wide (requires ≥ 9/16" surface). Standard mounting hole spacing is 2.5" (center-to-center).
CRITICAL: Measure & Select Your Extension Length!
Choose the correct length to clear your brickwork or storm door:
- Measure the exact distance straight out from the surface where the mount base will attach (your trim) to the outermost face of your brick or obstacle.
- Order THIS measurement as your required Extension Length. Do NOT subtract doorbell thickness for offset mounts.
Select the required extension length from the dropdown menu when ordering. (Starts at 1/4 inch).

How to Install Your Standard Offset Extension

Tools & Prep: Drill, PH1 + PH2 Philips bits, level, anchors if needed, Ring security screwdriver.
Turn OFF power at the breaker.
- Mount Extension Base: Position on trim over wires. Attach with #6 screws (PH2) into 2.5" spaced holes.
- Attach Doorbell Adapter Bracket: Route wires through. Align onto Extension Base. Attach with four #4 / PH1 center screws.
- Wire Doorbell: Connect wires per Ring's instructions.
- Attach Ring Doorbell Plus (Pro): Remove faceplate. Align with mounting features on the Adapter Bracket. Secure with the side security screws that came WITH YOUR RING DOORBELL using Ring's screwdriver. Snap faceplate back on.
- Final Check & Power On: Restore power and test.
