This is not a one-size-fits-all plate! We customize it for your doorbell button and wire location.
This plate sticks directly to your house using pre-applied, high-strength **3M outdoor adhesive tape**. You simply route your existing doorbell wires, stick the plate to the wall, and then screw your doorbell button **directly into the plate**.
CHOOSE YOUR WIRE ROUTING:
- Through Middle: For wires coming directly out of the wall. A clean, flush-mount look.
- Through Top/Bottom: For wires running on the surface of the wall. A discreet channel hides the wire.
- Through Side: For wires coming from the left or right side along the wall surface.
How to Order Your Custom Plate:
- Select Wire Routing Option: Choose the option (Middle, Top/Bottom, or Side) from the product dropdown menu that matches your wire location.

Provide Doorbell Button Info:
This is a required step for a proper fit!We need to know the **Make and Model** of your traditional wired doorbell button so we can size the plate correctly and drill the right mounting holes.
Please add this info to the **"Order Notes"** section at checkout.- Best Option: Upload or email/text us a picture of your doorbell button (next to a ruler, if possible!)
- Good Option: Provide the exact Make/Model (e.g., "Heath Zenith SL-2796").
- Minimum: Provide the exact dimensions (Height x Width) of your button's base.
- We Design & Ship: We will use your information to 3D print your custom adhesive plate and ship it to you!

Installation Guide
Follow these steps carefully for a secure, long-lasting installation.
- Power Off: Turn OFF power to your doorbell wiring at the circuit breaker!

Clean the Surface (CRITICAL STEP):
WARNING: The mount will fail if the surface is not prepared correctly.Thoroughly clean the installation area with **rubbing alcohol**. Ensure the surface is completely free of all dust, oil, moisture, or residue.
DO NOT mount to uneven surfaces like stucco, rough-textured siding, or unpainted wood. - Let Surface Dry: Allow the alcohol to dry completely.
- Route Wires: Feed your doorbell wires through the specific channel on the adapter plate that you ordered.
- Adhere Plate: Peel the red backing off the 3M adhesive tape. Carefully align the plate and press it **firmly** against the prepared surface. Hold strong pressure for 30-60 seconds to ensure a secure bond.
- Wire Doorbell Button: Connect the wires to your new doorbell button according to its manufacturer's instructions.
- Attach Doorbell Button to Plate: Align your doorbell button on the plate. We will have drilled the holes to match the model you provided. Secure the button to the plate using the screws that came *with your doorbell button*.
- Final Check & Power On: Ensure the button is secure on the plate and the plate is secure on the wall. Turn power back on and test.

Surface Preparation is CRITICAL: The adhesive bond will ONLY be as strong as the surface it's applied to. The mount will fail if the surface is not cleaned properly with alcohol or if it's applied to uneven, oily, or dirty surfaces. Not for use on rough/porous surfaces like stucco.
3D Printed Quality: Made using durable PETG 3D printing. Minor layer lines or cosmetic variations may be present but do not affect function. Contact us with any quality concerns.
