Installing Your 15-90° Side-Wall Mount on the Wyze Duo Cam Doorbell

  1. Tools & Prep: Drill, PH2 Philips (#6 base screws), PH1 Philips (#4 bracket / set screws / doorbell screws — provided preinstalled to the bracket), wall anchors if needed, level.
    Battery-only doorbell — no transformer required. Charge the Duo Cam fully via USB-C (~5 hours) BEFORE mounting so you can verify Live View aim at install time.
  2. Pair the Chime First: Plug the included Wyze Chime into a power outlet inside the house and pair to the Duo Cam through the Wyze app. Easier indoors before the doorbell goes up the wall.
  3. Plan the Aim Angle: Stand where visitors approach. The Duo Cam needs the TOP lens at face height for the visitor and the BOTTOM lens covering the doormat. On a side-wall install you'll need a 60-90° pivot — pre-visualize it before drilling.
  4. Mount the Base: Position the bent-neck base vertically on your siding/trim. Screw in with #6 screws (PH2 driver), anchors as needed.
    Drill pilot holes if mounting into hard trim wood.
