Customization & Add-On Options

Installing on the Lorex 4K Wired

  1. Tools & Prep: Drill, PH2/PH1 Philips, anchors, level, multimeter.
  2. Verify Transformer: 16-24V AC + 30VA minimum. The 4K model needs more power than the 2K. If you have a 10VA transformer, upgrade to 30VA before continuing.
  3. Power Down: Breaker OFF. Verify dead.
  4. Pair via Lorex App: Lorex Home / Cloud app.
  5. Plan Aim Angle: 9:16 portrait: TOP on faces, BOTTOM on doormat. Side-wall = 60-90° pivot.
  6. Mount the Base: Pull wires through, vertically, #6 screws.
  7. Attach Bent-Neck Swivel: Route wires, four #4 / PH1 screws.
  8. Set Initial Angle: Adjust through 15-90°.
  9. Connect & Mount Doorbell: Connect 16-24V wires. Use screws PROVIDED WITH THIS MOUNT (preinstalled). Do NOT use Lorex stock plate.
  10. Aim & Lock: Restore power. Live View, tilt/pan, tighten set screws. Test LED nightlight.

Compatible with Lorex 4K Wired?
Yes — B0CPQ3HXLT only. Will not fit Lorex 2K Wired or 2K Battery (different aspects).
15-90° vs 0-35°?
15-90° for side-wall correction.
Why does my 4K Lorex reboot?
Insufficient transformer voltage. The 4K needs 16-24V AC at 30VA minimum (more than the 2K). Upgrade if your transformer is below 30VA.
9:16 portrait sensor?
Yes — bracket aims correctly for portrait orientation: TOP catches faces, BOTTOM catches doormat.
