This is the replacement bottom slider for our No-Drill Vinyl Siding Doorbell Mount. The slider is the adjustable bar that slides up to grip the lower lip of your siding panel — it’s what gives the mount its no-drill hold. If you ordered the wrong length, or your siding board turned out taller than you measured, you don’t need a whole new mount: just grab the right slider here.
Pick the slider length that matches your siding board’s exposed face (the flat “lap”). It snaps into the same channel as the slider you already have, locks with the included set screws, and accepts the extreme outdoor tape on its back face for extra hold. 3D-printed to order in the USA from UV-stable PETG.
Which Slider Length Do I Need?
Measure the exposed flat face of one siding board (top of one overlap down to the top of the next). Match it to the slider length:

How the Slider Works on Your Mount
- The top clip of your mount hooks under the upper siding panel; the slider slides up from below to grip the lower lip.
- A longer slider reaches across taller siding boards so the mount still locks onto both lips.
- Set screws lock the slider once it’s snug against your siding lap.
- Included extreme outdoor tape goes on the back of the slider (the part touching the siding) for extra hold — never behind the doorbell.

Swapping in Your New Slider
- Loosen the set screws holding your current slider and slide the old slider out of the channel.
- Slide the new slider in the same track on the mount until it seats fully.
- Hook the top clip under the upper siding panel and slide the new slider up until it grips the lower lip snugly.
- Tighten the set screws to lock the fit at your siding lap width.
- Apply the included extreme outdoor tape to the back of the slider (the face touching the siding) for extra hold.
- Confirm the mount sits flush and the doorbell view looks right in your app; nudge the position along the siding if needed.
Tools: a small flathead/Phillips for the set screws. No drill required.
