Our Gang Box Doorbell Mount solves this problem. It features a base specifically sized (4 inches x 2.75 inches) to cover the electrical box completely. It includes a built-in wedge to angle your camera correctly, ensuring you get the best view while hiding the wiring and box behind a clean, professional plate.

Easy Installation

  1. Prep:
    For wired doorbells, turn OFF power at the breaker before you begin!
  2. Wire the Doorbell: Connect your house wires to the video doorbell terminals[cite: 4].
  3. Mount the Box/Base: Mount the main box unit to your wall outlet box using the two included #6 screws (or the screws that came with your original gang box). Ensure the open notches in the bottom of the box face toward the ground[cite: 8].
  4. Install the Doorbell: Install your specific video doorbell onto the mount using the included #6x1/2” screws[cite: 5].
  5. Power On: Restore power at the breaker and test your doorbell.
