Customization & Add-Ons

Installing Your 45° Corner Mount on a SimpliSafe Doorbell

  1. Select your doorbell: Confirm whether you have the 2K Series 2 or the 1080P and choose it in the dropdown so we print the matching bracket.
  2. Disarm first: Disarm your SimpliSafe system first — pulling the doorbell can trigger a tamper alert.
  3. Remove the old doorbell: Switch off the doorbell breaker, take down the old doorbell and disconnect its two 16-24V AC wires.
  4. Position the 45° corner base on the inside or outside corner and sight the aim toward the walkway with a level.
  5. Anchor the base to the corner trim with the provided #6 wall screws and a #2 Phillips screwdriver (pilot holes optional).
  6. Attach the bracket: Attach the SimpliSafe bracket to the mount face with the small center screws (usually preinstalled). Use a #1 Phillips PRECISION screwdriver.
  7. Mount the doorbell: Connect the two wires to the SimpliSafe terminals and mount the doorbell onto the bracket with the screws PROVIDED WITH THIS MOUNT (not SimpliSafe’s stock plate).
  8. Finish up: Restore power, re-arm, and check the field of view and Activity Zones in the SimpliSafe app.
