When the trim sits back from the brick, a SimpliSafe 2K Series 2 mounted on it looks straight into the masonry. This Brick Face Extension lifts the doorbell out to the face of the brick so the 150° view clears the wall. It brings a doorbell that sits recessed behind the brick out to the face of the brick, so the camera sees past the masonry.

This extension is printed with a bracket for one SimpliSafe doorbell. Select SimpliSafe 2K Series 2 or SimpliSafe 1080P, then your depth.

CRITICAL: How to Measure for the Brick Face Extension

Brick extensions are custom-cut to your exact depth. Two ways to measure:

Method A — You HAVE your doorbell: Hold the doorbell against the brick face and measure from the wood trim to the BACK of the doorbell. Order that depth.
Method B — You DON'T have your doorbell yet: Measure from the wood trim straight out to the FRONT face of the brick, then subtract 1 inch for the doorbell.

Installing Your Brick Face Extension on a SimpliSafe Doorbell

  1. Select doorbell and depth: Choose 2K Series 2 or 1080P, then the depth you measured.
  2. Disarm first: Disarm the SimpliSafe system; taking the doorbell down while armed may trigger a tamper alarm.
  3. Remove the old doorbell: Cut power at the breaker; remove the doorbell and disconnect its 16-24V AC wires.
  4. Route the wires: Feed both low-voltage wires through the rear channel of the extension to the front face.
  5. Mount the extension base: Set the extension on the wood trim and secure it using the supplied #6 wood screws and a #2 Phillips screwdriver.
  6. Attach the bracket: Screw the SimpliSafe bracket onto the extension face with the small center screws. #1 Phillips PRECISION screwdriver.
  7. Mount the doorbell: Connect both wires and fasten the doorbell to the bracket using the screws PROVIDED WITH THIS MOUNT (not the stock SimpliSafe plate).
  8. Finish up: Restore power, re-arm the system, and verify live view and motion zones in the SimpliSafe app.

Yes. Select SimpliSafe 1080P for the original Video Doorbell Pro, or SimpliSafe 2K Series 2 for the 2026 model. The brackets are different.
How do I measure for a brick face extension?
With the doorbell in hand, measure from the trim to the back of the doorbell held at the brick face. Without it, measure trim to brick face and subtract 1 inch.
