How to Install Your Swivel Mount

Prepare Tools & Area: Gather necessary tools:
- Drill (with appropriate bits).
- Screwdrivers/Bits: PH2 Philips (#6 base screws) AND PH1 Philips (#4 bracket/set/doorbell body screws). May also need the security Torx bit provided by Ring for the faceplate later. CRITICAL: Use correct Philips size to avoid stripping!
- Wall anchors (if needed). Level (optional).
- Mount the Base: Route wires through the base piece center hole. Position base (screws vertical or horizontal) and attach to wall/trim using provided #6 screws (PH2 driver) or suitable anchors. Drill carefully: Low speed/clutch, don't overtighten.
- Attach Swivel Bracket: Route wires through the main swivel bracket center hole. Align onto base and attach using the four center screws provided (likely #4 screws / PH1 driver). Tighten gently, avoid stripping.
- Set Initial Angle: Adjust swivel bracket (up/down & left/right). Lightly tighten one or two set screws (likely underside, #4 / PH1 driver).
- Wire Your Doorbell: Connect wires to your Ring Wired Doorbell Pro following Ring's instructions. Tuck excess wiring into the mount cavity.

Attach Doorbell Body & Faceplate:
- Align the main body of your Ring Wired Doorbell Pro with the pre-drilled holes on the end of the swivel mount bracket.
- Secure the doorbell body to the swivel mount bracket using the specific, shorter screws PROVIDED WITH THIS MOUNT (typically #4 screws requiring a PH1 driver - check fit).
- DO NOT USE the longer screws that came with Ring for attaching the body to this mount.
- Once the body is securely mounted, attach the Ring Wired Doorbell Pro faceplate using the security screw(s) and tool PROVIDED BY RING.
- Finalize Angle & Secure: Make final angle adjustments. Fully tighten all set screws using the correct driver (likely PH1) and gentle pressure. Do not overtighten! Turn power back on and test.
Note: Adhere to safety precautions and Ring's wiring instructions. Use appropriate anchors. Correct screwdriver size is essential.
