Does NOT fit: the older Toucan V3 / V3D / TVD100 models (B0DHWZRMYC, B0GQ75CNJZ, B0GQ79CFX1, B07ZHQQ21H — different body shapes). Each Toucan doorbell generation has a different body. Make sure yours is the 2024 Pro Edition (B0CPNH9J48) before ordering. Also does not fit Ring, Nest, Wyze, Eufy, Aqara, Tapo, Arlo, ecobee, Reolink, or any non-Toucan brand.

Confused which Toucan you have? The 2024 PRO Edition box specifically advertises 2K resolution AND radar motion detection. If your Toucan box says just "HD" or "1080p" and only motion detection (no radar), that's a V3/V3D/older model — different mount. The PRO has a USB-C charging port on the back and is noticeably chunkier than the V3.

The 140° wide view is plenty for a typical porch — but only when it's pointed at the actual approach. This 0-35° dual-axis swivel mount rotates the Toucan PRO in any direction up to 35° so the wide-angle frame catches the walkway instead of the wall, and the rear USB-C charging port stays accessible.

Customization & Add-Ons

Installing on the Toucan Wireless Doorbell PRO (2024)

  1. Charge First: Charge the Toucan PRO fully via USB-C (~5 hours from empty). Pair to the Toucan Smart Home app on your phone BEFORE mounting — easier indoors. Plug the included wireless chime into an indoor outlet within range.
  2. Mount the Base: Position vertical or horizontal on your siding/trim, secure with #6 screws (PH2 driver). Anchors as needed if not into a stud. Battery-only — no wires required.
  3. Attach the Swivel: Screw onto the base with four #4 / PH1 center screws. (Skip wire pass-through unless you want optional trickle-charge from existing doorbell wires.)
  4. Snap the Toucan PRO In: Use the screws PROVIDED WITH THIS MOUNT (PH1 driver) — NOT Toucan's stock back plate.
  5. Pair via Toucan Smart Home App: Connect to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi (most Toucan models are 2.4GHz only). Set motion sensitivity, configure radar zones if available.
  6. Aim & Lock + Configure Radar Zones: Live View → adjust the swivel until the 140° frame fully covers your porch path → tighten set screws. Then in the Toucan app: set radar detection zones to match the new framing (exclude street, include path/porch). Critical to do this AFTER aiming so zones reflect the actual frame.

Radar tip: radar motion is a real upgrade over PIR for cutting false alerts from animals, blowing leaves, and shadows. After mounting, tune the radar sensitivity in the Toucan app — too sensitive and you'll get every car driving by; too low and you'll miss real visitors. Sweet spot is usually around 60% sensitivity for typical porches.
