Does NOT fit: the Lorex 2K Wireless / Battery Video Doorbell (B09VTM87LW — different body with battery compartment). Each Lorex doorbell body has its own dedicated mount listing. Also does not fit Ring, Nest, Wyze, Eufy, Aqara, Tapo, Arlo, ecobee, Reolink, or any non-Lorex brand.

Confused which Lorex you have? The Wired version has NO battery compartment, NO USB-C charging port — just two screw terminals on the back for the transformer wires, and the LED nightlight strip across the front face. If yours has a battery compartment with a removable rechargeable pack, that's the Wireless/Battery model — different mount.

Lorex's No-Subscription Doorbell — Aim It Right

Lorex customers usually buy alongside a Lorex NVR or camera system. The 2K Wired doorbell drops into that ecosystem cleanly: same Lorex Home app, same no-monthly-fee model, same local-storage philosophy. The integrated security lighting (a real LED strip across the face) means actual deterrence in addition to recording.

2K at 164° is plenty wide — but only when it's pointed at the porch instead of the wall. This 0-35° dual-axis swivel mount rotates the Lorex in any direction up to 35° so the wide-angle frame catches the walkway, locked permanently with set screws.

Internal Wire Routing — Hidden & Protected

Low-voltage wires enter from the wall, pass through the hidden internal channel inside the ball-joint mount, route through the front adapter, and connect directly to the doorbell terminals. No exposed wiring, no weather risk.

Customization & Add-Ons

Installing on the Lorex 2K Wired Video Doorbell

  1. Verify Wiring: Confirm your existing doorbell circuit is 16-24V AC or 12-24V DC. Lorex's wider voltage range is forgiving but still verify with a meter or transformer label before powering up.
  2. Power Down:
    Turn the breaker off at the chime circuit. Verify with a tester at the existing doorbell wires before pulling them through the mount.
  3. Pair Indoors First: Open the Lorex Home app, add the doorbell, scan the QR code. Insert microSD card before mounting if you want subscription-free local recording.
  4. Mount the Base: Pull the doorbell wires through the hole in the swivel base, position vertical or horizontal on your siding/trim, secure with #6 screws (PH2 driver). Anchors as needed.
  5. Attach the Swivel: Route the wires through the swivel center, attach to the base with four #4 / PH1 center screws.
  6. Connect & Mount the Lorex: Connect the two doorbell-circuit wires to the Lorex's screw terminals. Snap onto the bracket using the screws PROVIDED WITH THIS MOUNT (PH1 driver) — not Lorex's stock back plate.
  7. Aim & Lock + Configure Detection Zones: Restore power. Live View → adjust the swivel until the 164° frame covers your porch top-to-bottom → tighten set screws. Then in the Lorex Home app: set person-detection zones to match the new framing.

NVR users: if you have a Lorex Fusion-compatible NVR, add the doorbell as a channel for centralized recording alongside your other Lorex cameras — the doorbell appears in the same timeline and search interface.
