Does NOT fit: the EZVIZ DB1C Wired (B08CXMJJC3 — slim wired body) or the EZVIZ DB1 Pro 5G (B09YVGXV6G — 5MP version with different shape). Each EZVIZ doorbell body has its own dedicated mount listing. Also does not fit Ring, Nest, Wyze, Eufy, Aqara, Tapo, Arlo, ecobee, Reolink, or any non-EZVIZ brand.

Confused which EZVIZ you have? The DB2 has a battery compartment with a removable rechargeable pack, the box advertises 4-month battery life, and it's distinctly chunkier than the wired DB1C. If yours is wired-only and slim (0.76" thick), that's a DB1C — different mount. If yours has dual-band Wi-Fi support (2.4 AND 5GHz), it's NOT a DB2 (DB2 is 2.4GHz-only).

The EZVIZ DB2 is for households that want a Hikvision-grade 2K wireless doorbell at a budget price — and don't want to mess with electrical wiring. 4 months between charges is solid for a 2K device, and the AI human-shape detection (separate from generic motion) cuts way down on false alerts.

The 176° wide-angle view catches a generous spread, but only when the camera is aimed at the actual porch path. This 0-35° dual-axis swivel mount rotates the DB2 in any direction up to 35° so the wide frame doesn't waste pixels on the wall, and the rear battery compartment stays accessible for charging without unmounting.

Customization & Add-Ons

Installing on the EZVIZ DB2 Wireless Doorbell

  1. Charge First: Charge the DB2 fully via the included charging cable (~6 hours from empty). Pair to the EZVIZ app indoors before mounting — easier indoors with full signal. Note: DB2 is 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only — make sure your router exposes a 2.4GHz SSID separately if you're on a mesh setup.
  2. Insert microSD Card: If you want subscription-free local storage of motion clips, insert a microSD card (up to 256GB) into the rear slot BEFORE mounting.
  3. Mount the Base: Position vertical or horizontal on your siding/trim, secure with #6 screws (PH2 driver). Anchors as needed if not into a stud.
  4. Attach the Swivel: Screw onto the base with four #4 / PH1 center screws. (No wires required — the DB2 is battery-only.)
  5. Snap the DB2 In: Use the screws PROVIDED WITH THIS MOUNT (PH1 driver) — NOT EZVIZ's stock back plate. Insert the charged battery if you removed it for charging.
  6. Aim & Lock: Live View in the EZVIZ app → adjust the swivel until the 176° frame fully covers your porch path → tighten the set screws.
  7. Configure AI Detection: In the EZVIZ app, enable AI human-shape detection and set motion zones to exclude the street and include just the porch. The mount-locked aim makes zone calibration permanent.

2.4GHz tip: if you're on a mesh router that auto-steers between 2.4 and 5GHz, the DB2 may struggle. Most mesh systems let you create a dedicated 2.4GHz SSID just for IoT devices — set up before pairing to avoid headaches.
