Installing Your 0-35° Swivel Mount on a SimpliSafe Doorbell

  1. Match your doorbell: Select your SimpliSafe doorbell in the variant menu so the swivel ships with the correct bracket.
  2. Disarm first: Disarm SimpliSafe before touching the doorbell to avoid a tamper event.
  3. Remove the old doorbell: Shut off power at the breaker, then remove the doorbell and disconnect the wires.
  4. Feed the wires and mount the base: Run the doorbell wires through the base, position it, and secure with the provided #6 wood screws using a #2 Phillips screwdriver.
  5. Aim and lock: Tilt the ball joint 0-35° left, right, or down toward the walkway, then tighten.
  6. Attach the bracket: Fix the bracket for your SimpliSafe model to the swivel head with the small center screws. Use a #1 Phillips PRECISION screwdriver.
  7. Mount the doorbell: Hook up the wires and attach the doorbell to the bracket with the screws PROVIDED WITH THIS MOUNT — don’t reuse the stock plate.
  8. Finish up: Restore power, re-arm, then open Live View and fine-tune the angle before final tightening.

Tools: #2 Phillips screwdriver, #1 Phillips PRECISION screwdriver, drill (optional pilot holes), level, multimeter.
