Internal Wire Routing — Hidden & Protected

Low-voltage wires enter from the wall, pass through the hidden internal channel inside the ball-joint mount, route through the front adapter, and connect directly to the doorbell terminals. No exposed wiring, no weather risk.

Customization & Add-Ons

Installing on the Ring Wired Doorbell 2nd Gen

  1. Power Off: Turn off the doorbell circuit at the breaker.
    Confirm power is off with a multimeter before touching the wires.
  2. Mount the Base: Pull the doorbell wires through, position vertical or horizontal, screw into siding/stucco with #6 screws (PH2 driver). Anchors if not into a stud.
  3. Attach the Swivel: Route wires through, screw onto base with four #4 / PH1 center screws.
  4. Wire the Doorbell: Connect the two transformer leads to the back of the Ring 2nd Gen.
  5. Snap In the Doorbell: Use the screws PROVIDED WITH THIS MOUNT — not Ring's screws or wedge plate.
  6. Aim & Lock: Open the Ring app, fine-tune in Live View, tighten the set screws.

Reminder: the 2nd Gen does not work with old mechanical built-in chimes — you'll need a Ring Chime, Echo, or compatible doorbell speaker.
