Full Offset is the deeper-projection choice. It sits the doorbell forward of the brick face entirely, ideal when mounting on the SIDE of brick or when storm doors with thick weatherstripping push past Standard. Custom-fit pocket holds the doorbell flush against the offset edge with no rocking.

Pick the right offset for your install: Use Standard Offset ($38-$120) to clear a storm door or trim. Use Full Offset ($50-$140) for maximum projection past brick edges. Use Brick Face Extension ($30-$110) if your doorbell would be recessed BEHIND the brick face and you want it flush with the brick.

  1. Prepare: EZVIZ DB2 is battery-powered — no breaker shutoff needed.

  2. Route Wires: Battery model: no wires to route. If you have an optional trickle-charge wire, route it through the rear of the brick extension.
  3. Mount the Extension Base: Anchor the back over wood trim with 2 provided #6 wood screws using a #2 Phillips screwdriver.
  4. Attach the Mounting Bracket: Fasten the EZVIZ DB2 adapter bracket to the front using the 4 small #4 center screws. USE #1 Phillips PRECISION screwdriver.
  5. Connect the Doorbell: Battery model: skip wire terminals. The doorbell mounts directly to the adapter bracket.
  6. Secure and Finalize: Mount the EZVIZ DB2 to the bracket. Reinstall cover. Open the EZVIZ app, check Live View, redraw motion zones to match the new mounting position.
