This collection holds every mount we make for the Ring Wired Doorbell Elite 4k Retina — the 2026 second-generation premium PoE Ring doorbell. This is the model with the upgraded 4k Retina sensor and the new body geometry. It still runs on Power over Ethernet and is designed for a recessed single-gang electrical box install — but we offer surface-mount, vinyl-siding, brick-extension, and angled-swivel mounting solutions for installations that don't have a recessed box, or that need to point the camera in a different direction.

No-Drill Vinyl Siding Mount
Mount the Ring Elite 4k on vinyl siding without drilling. Clips between siding panels and locks in place. Includes the surface box. Straight, 15°, 30°, or 45° angled variants available for 3-5" or 5.5-7.5" or 7-8.5" lap widths.

What is the Ring Elite 4k Doorbell?
The Ring Wired Doorbell Elite 4k Retina is the second-generation Ring Elite, released in 2026. It uses Power over Ethernet (PoE) for both data and power and ships with a 4k Retina camera sensor — a significant upgrade from the original 1st-gen Elite's 1080p HD. It has an updated body design, which means it uses different brackets than the original Elite.
How is the Ring Elite 4k different from the original Ring Elite?
Same family, very different doorbell. The original Elite is 1080p HD from 2016. The Elite 4k is the 2026 model with a 4k Retina sensor and an updated body. Do I need a recessed gang box to install the Ring Elite 4k?
The Elite 4k is designed to flush-mount into a recessed single-gang electrical box, but you don't need one if you use our Surface Mount Box. The Surface Mount Box provides the gang-box footprint while sitting on top of your wall — no cutting required. The vinyl siding mount also includes a surface box.
Can I install the Ring Elite 4k on vinyl siding?
Yes. Our no-drill vinyl siding mount for the Elite 4k clips between siding panels and includes the surface box — no drilling into siding. Available straight or with built-in angles (15°, 30°, 45°), and in 3-5", 5.5-7.5", or 7-8.5" lap widths.
What angles are available for the Ring Elite 4k?
The surface mount variant offers 15°, 30°, 45°, and 60° fixed angles (each reversible left or right). The vinyl siding mount offers straight, 15°, 30°, and 45° variants. If you need a different angle, contact us — we can usually custom-print it.
Can I install the Elite 4k on brick?
Yes. Pair our Ring Elite 4k Surface Mount Box with a brick extension piece for installs over deeper trim. Send photos of your install spot if you need help spec'ing the depth.
Where does the Ethernet cable go?
Through the cable port on the back of the Surface Mount Box (or behind the vinyl siding mount). Route your existing PoE Ethernet line through the port before mounting. No additional power adapter is needed — the doorbell pulls power from the same cable.
What color does it ship in?
Black by default to match the Elite 4k's dark housing. Other colors via the Color Change Request add-on at checkout.
