This 0-35° swivel mount is built from outdoor-rated PETG and engineered with a smooth ball-joint pivot that lets you fine-tune your Nest Wired Doorbell's aim in two directions — left/right swivel and up/down tilt — anywhere within a 35° arc. Even with the wide field of view on the Nest Wired (145° on the 2nd Gen, 166° on the 3rd Gen), if your doorbell is mounted next to a recessed door, on angled siding, or close to the doorframe, you can still end up watching the wrong wall. This 0-35° swivel mount lets you fine-tune the camera angle in two directions — left/right and up/down — so your doorbell sees the visitor, not the brick.

Low profile, sits close to the wall, and uses our universal swivel base — so when you upgrade from the 2nd Gen to the 3rd Gen (or to whatever Google releases next), you only swap the small adapter bracket, not the whole mount.

Installing Your 0-35° Swivel Mount on the Nest Wired Doorbell

  1. Tools & Prep: Gather:
    • Drill (with bits)
    • Screwdrivers/Bits: PH2 Phillips (#6 base screws) AND PH1 Phillips (typically #4 bracket/set/doorbell screws — provided). Use the correct size!
    • Wall anchors (if needed), level (optional)
    Turn OFF power to your doorbell at the breaker first — the Nest Wired Gen2 and Gen3 are both hardwired.
  2. Mount the Base: Route the doorbell wires through the base. Position the base (vertical or horizontal screw orientation) and attach using #6 screws (PH2 driver) with anchors if mounting into siding or stucco.
    Drill pilot holes if needed. Don't overtighten the base screws or you'll crack the plastic.
  3. Attach the Swivel Bracket: Route wires through the swivel bracket. Align the bracket onto the base and attach using the four center screws (likely #4 / PH1 driver).
    Use the correct PH1 bit. Start screws gently. Avoid overtightening.
  4. Set Initial Angle: Adjust the swivel bracket within the 0-35° range. Lightly tighten one or two set screws (likely #4 / PH1 driver) to hold position.
  5. Wire the Doorbell: Connect the Nest's two wires to your transformer leads per Google's setup instructions. Tuck excess wire neatly into the mount cavity.
  6. Attach the Nest to the Bracket:
    • Align the back of your Nest Wired Doorbell with the pre-shaped pocket on our custom bracket — it should slot in cleanly.
    • Secure using the specific screws PROVIDED WITH THIS MOUNT (likely #4 / PH1 driver).
    • DO NOT use the screws or wedge plate that came with your Nest doorbell for this step — our bracket replaces them.
    Use the correct PH1 driver for the provided screws. Tighten snugly, do not overtighten.
  7. Finalize the Angle: Restore power, open the Google Home app, and check the live view. Make final angle tweaks, then fully tighten all set screws gently but firmly.
    Do not overtighten set screws — hand-tight is sufficient.

Follow all of Google's wiring guidelines and use appropriate wall anchors for your surface. The correct Phillips bit size is the difference between a clean install and a stripped screw.
