Brick Face Extension is the right pick when your doorbell would otherwise sit RECESSED behind the brick face (your trim is set back from the brick, so the doorbell ends up looking at the side of a brick). This bracket extends from the trim/recessed mounting point UP TO the brick face so the doorbell sits flush.

Pick the right offset for your install: Use Brick Face Extension ($30-$110) when the doorbell would be recessed BEHIND the brick. Use Standard Offset ($38-$120) to clear a storm door or trim when the doorbell sits at or proud of the brick face. Use Full Offset ($50-$140) for maximum projection past brick edges.

Installing Your Brick Face Extension on the Lorex 1080P B Series

  1. Prepare: Lorex 1080P B Series requires 16-24V AC.
    Lorex 1080P B Series requires 16-24V AC. Turn OFF power at the breaker before disconnecting wires.
  2. Route Wires: Lead the 16-24V wires through the rear of the brick face extension and out the front.
  3. Mount the Extension Base: Anchor the back over wood trim with 2 provided #6 wood screws using a #2 Phillips screwdriver. For depths over 3 inches OR battery models, also drive a brick-anchor screw through the optional offset hole into the brick face for extra stability.
  4. Attach the Mounting Bracket: Fasten the Lorex 1080P B Series adapter bracket to the front using the 4 small #4 center screws. USE #1 Phillips PRECISION screwdriver.
  5. Connect the Doorbell: Strip wires (1/4 inch) and connect to the Lorex terminals. Polarity does NOT matter for AC.
  6. Secure and Finalize: Mount the Lorex 1080P B Series to the bracket. Reinstall cover. Open the Lorex app, check Live View, redraw motion zones.
