This is the Full Offset variant — the deepest projection brick mount we make. Use it when you need the doorbell pushed maximally out from the wall.

Pick the right offset for your install: Use Standard Offset Brick Mount ($38) if you only need a small bump forward to clear a normal storm door. Use this Full Offset ($50-$140) when you need maximum projection — wide storm doors, brick edge corners, side-trim obstructions. Use Brick Face Extension ($30-$110) if your doorbell would be recessed BEHIND the brick face and you want it flush with the brick.

Customization & Add-On Options

Installing Your Full Offset Brick Extension on the Ring Wired Doorbell Plus 2nd Gen

  1. Prepare: Turn OFF power at the breaker. Remove existing doorbell. Disconnect 16-24V wires and cap with wire nuts.
    For the Wired Plus 2nd Gen: doorbell needs 16-24V AC, 10-40VA. 30VA transformer recommended for full Color Night Vision performance.
  2. Route Wires: Lead the existing 16-24V doorbell wires through the rear of the brick extension and out the front opening with a few inches of slack.
  3. Mount the Extension Base: Position the back of the extension over the wood trim. The base anchors with 2 provided #6 wood screws using a #2 Phillips screwdriver.
    For deep projections (over 4 inches), pre-drill 1/8 inch pilot holes to prevent trim splitting.
  4. Attach the Mounting Bracket: Fasten the Wired Plus 2nd Gen adapter bracket to the front of the extension using the 4 small #4 center screws (preinstalled). USE #1 Phillips PRECISION screwdriver.
  5. Connect the Doorbell: Strip wires (1/4 inch) and connect to the Wired Plus 2nd Gen terminals. Polarity does NOT matter for AC.
  6. Secure and Finalize: Mount the Ring Wired Doorbell Plus 2nd Gen to the bracket using the screws PROVIDED WITH THIS MOUNT. Reinstall cover. Apply silicone caulk along top/sides if needed (skip bottom for drainage). Restore power. Open Ring app → Live View. Verify framing and redraw motion zones.

Do I lose any Ring features using this extension?
No. The extension is a passive 3D-printed PETG part with no electronics. All Ring Wired Doorbell Plus 2nd Gen features — Retinal 2K, head-to-toe view, motion zones, Live View — work exactly as on the stock plate. After install, redraw motion zones.
