Installing Your Gang Box Swivel Mount (15-90°)

  1. Tools & Prep: Gather: PH1 & PH2 Philips Screwdrivers/Bits, Level, your doorbell model, and screws for gang box (typically #6-32, often included with this mount or your gang box).
    Turn OFF power at the breaker to the gang box!
  2. Mount Gang Box Base Plate: Pull wires from the gang box through the center hole of the **Swivel Mount Base Plate**. Align the base plate's mounting holes (3.281" spacing) with the screw holes on your single gang box. Secure the base plate to the gang box using appropriate screws (typically #6-32 machine screws - verify if included with this mount or use existing/new gang box screws).
    Ensure base plate is flush and secure. Do NOT overtighten.
  3. Attach Swivel Bracket to Base: Align the **Swivel Bracket** (U-shaped piece) onto the mounted Base Plate. Attach using the four small center screws provided (likely **#4 screws / PH1 driver**).
    Tighten until flush. Clear any plastic debris from pilot holes if needed. Do NOT over-torque.
  4. Attach Doorbell Adapter Bracket to Swivel: Align the **Doorbell Adapter Bracket** (specific to your selected doorbell) with the Swivel Bracket. Secure with the two side pivot screws (typically #4 / PH1), leaving them slightly loose for now to allow angle adjustment.
  5. Set Initial Angle (15-90°): Adjust the Doorbell Adapter Bracket to your desired horizontal and vertical angle.
  6. Wire Doorbell: Connect wires from the gang box to your video doorbell per its manufacturer's instructions. Tuck excess wire into the gang box.
  7. Mount Doorbell onto Adapter Bracket: Attach your video doorbell to the **Doorbell Adapter Bracket** using the screws PROVIDED WITH THIS MOUNT KIT (typically #4 / PH1).
    Use the correct screws provided by *us*. DO NOT use the long wall-mounting screws from your doorbell.
  8. Finalize Angle & Secure: Make any final angle adjustments. Fully tighten the two side pivot screws on the Swivel Bracket to lock the angle.
    Do not overtighten pivot screws!
  9. Restore Power & Test: Turn power back on and test your doorbell.
