0-35° Adjustable Mount for the Philips Hue Secure Wired Video Doorbell

Built for the Philips Hue Secure Wired Video Doorbell — Philips's first video doorbell, designed for households already running Hue lights. 2K QHD resolution in a 1:1 head-to-toe frame (1984×1984), >180° field of view, two-way audio, IR night vision, IP54 weather rating, and the killer Hue feature: doorbell motion can trigger Hue scenes and lights automatically. The bracket cradles the Hue Secure body specifically and the 0-35° dual-axis ball joint aims the wide frame in any direction. Outdoor PETG, made-to-order in the USA.

Custom-Fit for the Philips Hue Secure Wired Video Doorbell

This bracket is shaped specifically for the Philips Hue Secure Wired Video Doorbell — Amazon ASIN B0FP44Y4FB. Philips Hue's first doorbell with 2K QHD resolution (1984×1984, 1:1 aspect for head-to-toe), >180° field of view, IR night vision, two-way audio, IP54 weather rating, integrated LED indicator ring, and full Hue ecosystem integration: motion or doorbell press can trigger Hue light scenes automatically. Wired-only operation: requires existing 12-24V AC doorbell wiring + 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. Hue Bridge required for full automation (without Bridge: doorbell + camera work, but light triggers don't).

Does NOT fit: any other doorbell brand. Hue's body is unique to the Hue Secure Doorbell. Does not fit Ring, Nest, Wyze, Eufy, Aqara, Tapo, Arlo, ecobee, Reolink, or any non-Philips Hue brand. Philips Hue currently makes only one doorbell, so this listing covers their full lineup.

How to confirm: The Hue Secure Doorbell has the Philips Hue logo on the front, is added through the Hue app (the same app you use for Hue bulbs), and has a flat black or white front face with the doorbell button at the bottom. If you don't see "Hue Secure" branding on the box, it's not a Philips Hue doorbell.

Doorbell That Talks to Your Lights — Aim It Right

Philips Hue Secure is built for households already running Hue lights. The killer feature isn't 2K resolution — it's that motion at the door can automatically trigger your Hue scenes (porch lights on at 100%, hallway lights to "welcome" warm white, etc.). When the doorbell rings late at night, the foyer lights up before you reach the door. Smart-home integration that actually delivers.

2K head-to-toe (1:1 aspect) catches face AND package zone in one shot — but only when aimed at the porch and not the wall. This 0-35° dual-axis swivel mount rotates the Hue Secure in any direction up to 35°, locked permanently with set screws so the head-to-toe framing stays put — and the existing 12-24V wires route cleanly through the mount.

Two-Axis Aiming, 0-35° Range

One smooth ball joint. Aim left, right, up, or down — all the way to 35° in any direction. Lock the angle with set screws. Done.

Internal Wire Routing — Hidden & Protected

Low-voltage wires enter from the wall, pass through the hidden internal channel inside the ball-joint mount, route through the front adapter, and connect directly to the doorbell terminals. No exposed wiring, no weather risk.

What You Get

  • Custom Bracket for Hue Secure Doorbell: Pre-shaped pocket fits the slim Hue Secure body — flush, no rattle, no obstruction of the lens, mic, or front LED ring.
  • Dual-Axis 0-35° Swivel: Aim the >180° 2K head-to-toe frame precisely; lock with set screws.
  • Wire Pass-Through: Routes 12-24V AC doorbell wires through the joint cleanly.
  • Outdoor-Rated PETG: UV-stable, freeze-tolerant — exceeds the Hue Secure's IP54 rating.
  • Siding Compatible: Flat surfaces and lapped siding up to 1.8" wide.
  • Universal Base: Future-proof — switch doorbells later for a ~$10 adapter swap.
  • LED Ring Visibility: Bracket leaves the front Hue LED status ring fully visible (important for visitor feedback when ringing).

Customization & Add-Ons

Installing on the Philips Hue Secure Doorbell

  1. Verify Wiring: Confirm your existing doorbell circuit is 12-24V AC. Hue Secure also requires 2.4GHz Wi-Fi (5GHz NOT supported — common mesh-router gotcha).
  2. Power Down:
Turn the breaker off at the chime circuit. Verify with a tester at the existing wires before pulling them through the mount.
  3. Set Up the Hue Bridge (If You Have One): The Hue Secure Doorbell works standalone via the Hue app, but lighting automations require a Hue Bridge on the same network. Set up the Bridge first if you don't have one — it's the foundation of the Hue ecosystem.
  4. Pair Indoors First: Add the Hue Secure Doorbell to the Hue app indoors (better Wi-Fi signal). Pair it to your Hue Bridge if available.
  5. Mount the Base: Pull the doorbell wires through the hole in the swivel base, position vertical (Hue Secure is a tall narrow body — vertical orientation is most natural), secure with #6 screws (PH2 driver). Anchors as needed.
  6. Attach the Swivel: Route the wires through the swivel center, attach to the base with four #4 / PH1 center screws.
  7. Connect & Mount the Hue Secure: Connect the two doorbell-circuit wires to the Hue Secure's screw terminals. Snap onto the bracket using the screws PROVIDED WITH THIS MOUNT (PH1 driver) — not Philips's stock plate.
  8. Aim & Lock: Restore power. Live View in the Hue app → adjust the swivel until the >180° 2K frame covers your full porch (visitor face top, package zone bottom) → tighten the set screws.
  9. Configure Hue Light Automations: In the Hue app, set up routines so doorbell motion or button press triggers your preferred Hue scenes (porch lights on, hallway lights to "welcome", etc.). The aim is locked, so motion zones stay calibrated long-term.

Existing Smart Chime tip: Philips sells a separate Hue Smart Chime that integrates with the doorbell over Wi-Fi. If you don't want to mess with the existing mechanical chime, the Smart Chime is a clean alternative — and the doorbell still rings any standard mechanical chime through the existing wiring on top of that.
