0-35° Adjustable Mount for the Alarm.com ADC-VDB755P PoE Pro Series Video Doorbell Station

Built for the Alarm.com ADC-VDB755P — Alarm.com's first PoE-powered doorbell, the Pro Series Video Door Station. 1440p 2MP video, 150° vertical × 150° horizontal field of view, full-time recording when paired with the Alarm.com SVR (Stream Video Recorder), HDR, IR night vision, and PoE single-cable install for commercial-grade reliability. Targeted at multi-tenant residential, commercial entrances, and prosumer Alarm.com installs. The bracket cradles the chunky VDB755P station body specifically (different from VDB770/VDB780B/VDB750) and the 0-35° dual-axis ball joint aims the wide frame in any direction. Outdoor PETG, made-to-order in the USA.

Custom-Fit for the ADC-VDB755P Pro Series Video Doorbell Station

This bracket is shaped specifically for the Alarm.com ADC-VDB755P PoE Video Door Station. Alarm.com's first commercial-grade Pro Series doorbell with: 2MP / 1440p Full HD video, 150° vertical × 150° horizontal field of view (the squarest coverage in the Alarm.com lineup), HDR, IR night vision, two-way audio, integrated chime, full-time SVR recording capability, and PoE-only operation (802.3af) — no AC wiring, single Cat5/Cat6 cable for power + data. Sold direct through commercial Alarm.com dealers, not typically on Amazon.

Does NOT fit: the VDB-770 (slim Wi-Fi wired body), VDB-750 (Design Studio Series), VDB-780B Battery, or any non-Alarm.com doorbell. Each Alarm.com doorbell has its own dedicated mount.

Confused which Alarm.com doorbell you have? The VDB-755P is the chunkiest in the Alarm.com lineup, has a Cat5/Cat6 RJ45 jack on the back (not 16-24V terminals), and is marketed as "Pro Series" or "Video Door Station". If yours has 16-24V screw terminals and Wi-Fi only, you have a VDB-770, VDB-750, or VDB-780B — different mount.

Commercial-Grade PoE + Full-Time SVR — Aim It Right

The VDB-755P is Alarm.com's prosumer/commercial answer to the UniFi G4 Doorbell Pro and Hikvision intercoms. PoE = single Cat6 run, no transformer headaches, no Wi-Fi range issues. Combined with the Alarm.com SVR, it does full-time 24/7 recording — a rarity in the Alarm.com line. 150°×150° square coverage means the package zone AND face zone are both in frame.

This 0-35° dual-axis swivel mount rotates the VDB-755P in any direction up to 35°, locks permanently with set screws, and routes the PoE Cat6 cleanly through the joint. Locked aim is critical for pro-monitored installs — drift triggers tamper events at the central station.

Two-Axis Aiming, 0-35° Range

One smooth ball joint. Aim left, right, up, or down — all the way to 35° in any direction. Lock with set screws.

Internal Cable Routing — PoE Cat6 Hidden & Protected

Cat5/Cat6 PoE Ethernet enters from the wall, passes through the hidden internal channel inside the ball-joint mount, routes through the front adapter, and connects directly to the doorbell's RJ45 port.

What You Get

  • Custom Bracket for VDB-755P: Pre-shaped pocket fits the chunky Pro Series station body — flush, no rattle.
  • Dual-Axis 0-35° Swivel: Aim the 150°×150° square 1440p frame precisely; lock with set screws.
  • PoE Cable Pass-Through: Routes Cat5/Cat6 Ethernet through the joint cleanly.
  • Outdoor-Rated PETG: UV-stable, freeze-tolerant.
  • Universal Base: Future-proof — switch doorbells later for a ~$10 adapter swap.
  • Pro-Monitoring Friendly: Locked set screws prevent aim drift / central-station tamper false-alerts.
  • SVR-Compatible: Bracket geometry doesn't block the lens — full 24/7 SVR recording works as expected.

Customization & Add-Ons

Installing on the Alarm.com VDB-755P

  1. Coordinate With Your Alarm Dealer: Pro-monitored installs: call your dealer for a 1-hour test mode before swapping the doorbell to avoid tamper triggers.
  2. Plan Your Cat6 Run: The VDB-755P is PoE-only. Run a Cat5e or Cat6 cable from a PoE switch (802.3af, ~12W) or PoE injector to the doorbell location. Solid-core Cat6 for runs over 30 ft.
  3. Mount the Base: Pull the Cat6 through the swivel base, position vertical or horizontal, secure with #6 screws (PH2 driver).
  4. Attach the Swivel: Route the Cat6 through the swivel center, attach to the base with four #4 / PH1 center screws.
  5. Connect & Mount the VDB-755P: Plug the Cat6 RJ45 into the doorbell. Snap onto the bracket using the screws PROVIDED WITH THIS MOUNT (PH1 driver) — not Alarm.com's stock plate.
  6. Pair via Alarm.com: Restore PoE power. Your dealer can adopt the doorbell to your Alarm.com account remotely. Verify it shows up in the Alarm.com app.
  7. Aim & Lock: Live View in the Alarm.com app → adjust the swivel until the 150°×150° square frame catches the visitor + package zones → tighten set screws.
  8. Configure SVR Recording: If you have an Alarm.com SVR, enable continuous 24/7 recording for the VDB-755P — the only Alarm.com doorbell that supports it.
  9. Confirm Pro-Monitoring: Take the panel out of test mode with your dealer.

PoE tip: the VDB-755P pulls more power than a typical PoE camera, especially during chime + IR + video stream. Use an 802.3af-certified PoE source — passive PoE injectors can cause boot loops or intermittent dropouts. UniFi PoE switches and Cisco/HP managed PoE switches all work fine.
