Ensure there's space on the door edge for the clamp (approx 1/8" clearance needed).

Easy Installation Guide

  1. Prepare: Unpack the metal door bracket, custom adapter plate, and provided screws. Gather your doorbell/keypad and a PH1 Philips screwdriver.
  2. Position Metal Bracket on Door: Open your door. Slide the U-shaped metal bracket onto the edge of the door where you want your device. The flat outer plate should be on the exterior side of the door, and the part with the thumb screw(s) on the interior side.
    Check Clearance! Before fully tightening, gently close the door to ensure the bracket does not interfere with the door frame or weather stripping. Adjust position if needed.
  3. Secure Metal Bracket: Once the position is confirmed, firmly tighten the **thumb screw(s)** on the inside edge of the door clamp until the bracket is held securely and does not wobble.
    Do not overtighten the thumb screws.
  4. Attach Custom Adapter Plate: Align the **custom adapter plate** (drilled for your selected device) onto the face of the metal door bracket. Secure it using the small screws **provided with this kit** (likely #4 / PH1 driver).
    Tighten screws snugly. Do not overtighten.
  5. Mount Your Doorbell/Keypad: Align your video doorbell or keypad with the pre-drilled pilot holes on the **custom adapter plate**. Secure your device using the screws PROVIDED WITH THIS MOUNT KIT (likely #4 / PH1 driver).
    Use the correct screws provided with *this kit* for attaching your device to the adapter plate. Do not use long wall screws. Tighten gently.
  6. Final Check: Ensure your doorbell/keypad is firmly attached and the entire bracket is secure on the door edge. Test door operation again.
