What is a no-drill vinyl siding doorbell mount?

A no-drill vinyl siding mount is a 3D-printed bracket that clips between the laps of standard horizontal vinyl siding to hold a video doorbell or outdoor camera. The clip slides into the gap between two siding panels and locks against the lap edge. No holes are drilled into the siding, no adhesive touches the siding, and the install is fully reversible — perfect for renters or anyone who wants to avoid damaging their home's exterior.

What siding does it fit?

Standard horizontal vinyl siding with 3-inch to 5-inch lap exposure (the visible "face" of each siding panel). This covers the vast majority of US residential vinyl siding. We also offer longer clip variants for 5.5-7.5" and 7-8.5" lap widths. If you have Dutch lap profile, our mounts also fit that style. Not compatible with insulated vinyl siding, vertical siding, wood, stucco, fiber cement, or aluminum siding — for brick or stone, see our Brick Extensions.

Does it damage the siding?

No. The clip slides between two siding panels and locks against the lap edge. No drilling, screws, or adhesive touches the siding itself. To remove, just reverse the install — the siding is left unchanged.

Will it really hold a doorbell or camera securely?

Yes. The hook design grips the lap edge and the adjustable bottom hook locks against the lower panel. A small side screw locks the bottom hook in place once dialed in. We've shipped these to thousands of customers — they don't slip or drift. If yours doesn't fit snugly, contact us with photos and we'll send a free replacement.

Which doorbells and cameras are compatible?

Doorbells: Ring (all generations, including 2025/2026 Wired, Wired Plus, Wired Pro, Wired Pro PoE, Battery, Battery Plus, Battery Pro, and Elite 4k), Google Nest (Wired and Battery), Eufy (E340, S330, C30, C31, S220), Blink (1st and 2nd Gen), Wyze (v1, v2, Pro), Lorex, SimpliSafe, Reolink, Arlo Essential, Xfinity, Ubiquiti UniFi, TP-Link Tapo, Aqara, Ecobee, AOSU, Chamberlain myQ, Roku, Logitech Circle View. Cameras: Ring Stick Up Cam, Ring Spotlight Cam, Arlo 2K Camera, Eufy SoloCam, SimpliSafe Series 2 Camera, and similar outdoor cameras with a flat mounting base.

Can I add an angle to a vinyl siding mount?

Yes. Most siding mounts accept a fixed-angle wedge top (15°, 30°, 45°, 60°, 75°) or a 0-35° / 15-90° adjustable swivel top. See our Wedge Mounts and Adjustable Swivel Mounts. Some Ring Elite 4k variants come with angles built in.

How do I install one?

(1) Attach the doorbell or camera to the mount's top adapter using its standard screws. (2) Insert the top clip into the gap between two siding panels at a 45° angle. (3) Rotate the mount down until it sits flush against the siding. (4) Slide the adjustable bottom hook up until it's snug against the lower panel. (5) Optional: tighten the side locking screw. Only a Phillips screwdriver needed.

What color does it ship in?

Black is the default. White is also commonly available (often matches lighter siding better). Other colors via the Color Change Request add-on at checkout.

What's your fit guarantee?

If your siding is in the 3-5" lap range (or you've ordered one of our longer variants for 5.5-8.5") and the mount doesn't seem to fit, send us photos. We'll send free replacement parts until it fits — no return needed.
