A doorbell brick extension is a 3D-printed mounting bracket that extends your video doorbell forward off recessed door trim. When your door trim sits behind brick, stone, or deep siding, the camera ends up pointing at the wall instead of the visitor. A brick extension brings the doorbell forward — past the brick — so it has a clean field of view, and mounts to the existing trim so you don't have to drill into masonry.
Will a brick extension damage my brick?
No. Our brick extensions mount to your existing door trim using the original screw holes from your doorbell — they never touch the brick itself. No drilling, anchoring, or attachment to masonry is required.
How do I measure for a brick extension?
Measure from the face of your door trim out to the face of the brick. For Standard Offset and Full Offset mounts, that measurement is your extension length. For Centered (Brick Face) mounts, subtract the thickness of your doorbell from that measurement so the camera sits flush with the brick face. Each product page has model-specific instructions, and you can email or text us photos for confirmation.

Which offset style should I choose?
Pick Standard Offset (5/8" sideways) if you want a moderate offset that clears most trim and improves the camera angle — this fits the majority of installs. Pick Full Offset if a storm door or screen door swings into the doorbell area and you need the camera completely over the brick face. Pick Centered Brick Face if you want a clean flush look with the brick instead of a sideways offset. Pick an Adjustable Angle add-on if your install also needs the camera angled left, right, up, or down.
How long does shipping take?
Brick Extensions are made to order in the USA, typically printed and shipped within a few business days. Ship times vary by location once dispatched. If you have a deadline, mention it in the order notes or email shop@doorbellmount.com.
What color do brick extensions ship in?
Black is the default for nearly all Brick Extensions. White or other colors are available via our Color Change Request add-on when placing your order.
Do I need special tools to install one?
No. You'll need only a Phillips screwdriver. Brick extensions reuse the existing screw holes from your old doorbell mount, and our adapter brackets come pre-drilled for your specific doorbell model. Wired doorbells require a few minutes to route the existing wire through the extension's wire channel.
