Designed around the Eufy Video Doorbell C31 — the 2K doorbell that runs on a quick-release 6,500mAh battery or hardwires for 24/7 continuous recording. The bracket cups the C31's body precisely and leaves the bottom-edge battery release accessible, so you can pop the battery out and recharge without dismounting the whole assembly. This swivel mount is fully compatible with the Eufy Video Doorbell C31 — and with every other Eufy video doorbell on the market. Eufy designed their lineup with a consistent mounting footprint, so this same bracket also fits the E340 (2K dual cam), the S330 (wired and battery dual cam), the C30 (2K battery, 165° view), the S220 (2K battery), the C210 (1080p budget battery), and the original Eufy 2K Wired, 2K Battery, and Dual cam (HomeBase) models. Will NOT fit other brands — Ring, Nest, Wyze, Blink, Arlo, and all non-Eufy doorbells use different body geometries. If you switch to a different brand of doorbell in the future, you don't need to buy a new mount — just order the matching adapter bracket (~$10) from our Replacement Bracket listing. The swivel base stays installed on your wall.

Why a Swivel Beats a Wedge for the C31

Eufy's stock C31 mount is a flat backplate — no angle. If your wall is square to the door but the visitor approach isn't (e.g. a porch path that comes in from the side), the C31 either misses the visitor's face or gets a side-of-head shot that confuses AI human detection. A swivel mount gives you the few degrees of horizontal pivot the wall doesn't have.

Bonus for C31 owners: this mount keeps the quick-release battery slot at the bottom edge fully accessible. You can pull the battery for charging without unscrewing anything from the wall. Most aftermarket brackets cover the release latch — ours doesn't.

Internal Wire Routing — Hidden & Protected

Low-voltage wires enter from the wall, pass through the hidden internal channel inside the ball-joint mount, route through the front adapter, and connect directly to the doorbell terminals. No exposed wiring, no weather risk.

Customization & Add-Ons

Installing on the Eufy Video Doorbell C31

  1. Pick Your Power Mode: Battery-only (no wiring) or hardwired (16-24V, enables 24/7 recording).
    If hardwiring: turn power off at the breaker first. The C31 needs 16-24V AC; 8-10V mechanical chime transformers won't work.
  2. Mount the Base: Pull wires through if hardwiring. Position the base vertically or horizontally on your siding/trim. Screw in with #6 screws / PH2 driver. Anchors if not into a stud.
  3. Attach the Swivel: Route wires through the swivel (skip if battery-only). Attach to base with four #4 / PH1 center screws.
  4. Wire the C31 (or charge the battery): If hardwiring, connect the two transformer leads to the C31's screw terminals. If battery-only, fully charge before mounting (USB-C, ~3 hours from empty).
  5. Snap the C31 In: Use the screws PROVIDED WITH THIS MOUNT (PH1) — not Eufy's wedge plate screws.
  6. Aim & Lock: Open the eufy Security app → Live View → tilt the swivel into the right frame → tighten set screws.
  7. Verify Battery Access: Test that you can release the C31's battery from the bottom slot without bracket interference. (You should be able to.)

If you're using battery mode, expect ~3-6 months between charges depending on motion event volume. Charge in the spring and fall — you'll forget about it the rest of the year.
