0-35° Adjustable Mount for the Arlo Video Doorbell 2K (2nd Gen)

Engineered for the Arlo Video Doorbell 2K (2nd Gen) — Arlo's flagship 2K wireless-or-wired doorbell with the 180° head-to-toe view, package detection, person/vehicle recognition, and a 6-month rechargeable battery (or hardwired install). The bracket is shaped specifically for the 2nd-gen body so it sits flush — different from the older 1st-gen Arlo Essential. 0-35° dual-axis ball joint aims the 1:1 head-to-toe frame in any direction. Outdoor PETG, made-to-order in the USA, set-screw locked.

Custom-Fit for the Arlo Video Doorbell 2K (2nd Gen)

This bracket is shaped specifically for the Arlo Video Doorbell 2K (2nd Generation) — Amazon ASIN B0C683F516. Arlo's premium 2024/2025 dual-power doorbell with 2K resolution, 180° diagonal head-to-toe view (1:1 aspect ratio), color night vision, package detection, person/vehicle recognition, rechargeable battery (~6 months) or hardwired (16-24V AC), 2-way audio with built-in siren, and direct-to-Wi-Fi (no SmartHub required). Includes 1 month of Arlo Secure free.

Body-shared note: The 2nd-gen Video Doorbell 2K and the 2nd-gen Video Doorbell HD share the same physical body, so this bracket also fits the HD 2nd-gen — just a different sensor inside. Does NOT fit: the older Arlo Essential Wire-Free Video Doorbell (AVD2001), the Arlo Essential Wired Video Doorbell (AVD1001 — older 1st-gen wired), or the original Arlo Audio Doorbell. Each older Arlo body has its own dedicated mount listing. Also does not fit Ring, Nest, Wyze, Eufy, Aqara, Tapo, or any non-Arlo brand.

Confused which Arlo you have? The 2nd Gen Video Doorbell 2K box specifically says "2nd Generation" or "Latest Release" with "2K HDR" prominently. The body has a sleek modern look with a separate clip-in face plate. If yours has a more rectangular older look and ships in white-only with a circular doorbell button, that's likely an Essential Wire-Free (AVD2001) or Essential Wired (AVD1001) — different body, different mount.

Arlo's Premium Doorbell — Aim It Right

The 2nd-gen 2K is what you upgrade to from older Arlo Essentials when you want the head-to-toe 180° view AND the option to choose battery vs. wired AND package detection without buying a SmartHub. The 1:1 head-to-toe aspect ratio is genuinely useful — it shows you a visitor's full body and the package on the doorstep in the same frame.

But the wide-angle frame is only useful when it's pointed at the actual porch, not the wall next to it. Most front doors aren't perpendicular to the visitor's approach path. This 0-35° dual-axis swivel mount rotates the camera body so the head-to-toe frame catches everyone who comes to your door, and locks permanently with set screws.

Two-Axis Aiming, 0-35° Range

One smooth ball joint. Aim left, right, up, or down — all the way to 35° in any direction. Lock the angle with set screws. Done.

Internal Wire Routing — Hidden & Protected

Low-voltage wires enter from the wall, pass through the hidden internal channel inside the ball-joint mount, route through the front adapter, and connect directly to the doorbell terminals. No exposed wiring, no weather risk.

What You Get

  • Custom Bracket for Arlo 2K 2nd Gen: Pre-shaped pocket fits the 2nd-gen body — flush, no rattle, no obstruction of the 180° lens or speaker. Also fits the HD 2nd Gen (same body).
  • Dual-Axis 0-35° Swivel: Aim the 180° head-to-toe 2K frame precisely; lock with set screws.
  • Charge Port Stays Accessible: Designed so you can pull the battery for charging (or plug the magnetic charging cable in) without unmounting.
  • Wire Pass-Through (Wired Mode): Routes 16-24V AC chime wires through the joint if you're using the hardwired option for trickle-charge or 24/7 recording.
  • Outdoor-Rated PETG: Matches the Arlo's IP65 rating — UV-stable, freeze-tolerant.
  • Siding Compatible: Flat surfaces and lapped siding up to 1.8" wide.
  • Universal Base: Future-proof — switch doorbells later for a ~$10 adapter swap.

Customization & Add-Ons

Installing on the Arlo Video Doorbell 2K (2nd Gen)

  1. Pick Battery or Wired: Battery-only: just charge fully via Arlo's magnetic charging cable. Hardwired: existing 16-24V AC doorbell wires (10VA min transformer). Wired option keeps the battery topped up; Arlo recommends ~16V AC minimum for reliable operation.
  2. Power Down (If Wiring):
If hardwiring: turn the breaker off first. Verify dead with a tester at the existing doorbell wires before pulling them through the mount.
  3. Mount the Base: Position vertical or horizontal on your siding/trim, secure with #6 screws (PH2 driver). Anchors as needed if not into a stud.
  4. Attach the Swivel: Route wires through (skip if battery), screw onto the base with four #4 / PH1 center screws.
  5. Connect & Mount the Arlo: Battery: just snap on. Hardwired: connect the two transformer leads to the Arlo's terminals. Snap onto the bracket using the screws PROVIDED WITH THIS MOUNT (PH1 driver) — not Arlo's stock plate or wedge.
  6. Pair via Arlo Secure App: Open the Arlo Secure app (or Arlo Smart legacy), scan the QR code on the back, connect to 2.4 or 5GHz Wi-Fi. Set up activity zones, package detection, and motion sensitivity before final aim.
  7. Aim & Lock: Live View → adjust until 180° head-to-toe frame covers visitor faces at the top edge AND packages at the bottom edge → tighten set screws. Set the activity zones in the app to match the new framing.

Arlo Secure note: package detection and 30-day video history require the Arlo Secure subscription past the 1-month free trial. Without it you still get live view + 2-way audio, but no recordings. Plan accordingly when budgeting.
