Installing Your 15-90° Swivel Mount

  1. Tools & Prep: Gather:
    • Drill (with bits).
    • Screwdrivers/Bits: PH2 Philips (#6 base screws) AND PH1 Philips (#4 bracket/set/doorbell screws provided by us). Use the correct size!
    • Wall anchors (if needed), Level (optional).
    If hardwiring, turn OFF power at the breaker first! For battery use, ensure doorbell is charged but removed from mount during install.
  2. Mount Base: Position base (screws vertical or horizontal). If hardwiring, route wires through base now. Attach securely using #6 screws (PH2 driver) / anchors.
    Drill Carefully: Use low speed/clutch. Avoid overtightening screws.
  3. Attach Swivel Bracket: If hardwiring, route wires through bracket. Align onto base & attach using four center screws (likely #4 / PH1 driver).
    Stripping Risk: Use correct PH1 bit. Start screws by hand.
  4. Set Initial Angle: Adjust swivel bracket (up/down & left/right) within 15-90°. Lightly tighten one/two set screws (likely #4 / PH1 driver).
  5. Attach Doorbell to Bracket:
    • Align your Ring Doorbell (2nd Gen) with the holes on the swivel mount bracket.
    • If hardwiring, connect wires now following Ring's instructions.
    • Secure the doorbell using the security screws that came with your Ring Doorbell OR specific shorter screws PROVIDED WITH THIS MOUNT if included for this model (likely #4 / PH1 driver - check instructions with mount).
    • Verify correct screw length before tightening!
    Stripping Warning: Use the correct driver for whichever screws are used. Tighten snugly.
  6. Finalize & Secure Angle: Make final adjustments. Fully tighten all set screws (likely PH1 driver) gently.
    Do not overtighten set screws! Hand-tighten is sufficient.
    If hardwiring, turn power back on. Test doorbell function.
