HOW IT WORKS: We create a custom plate based on YOUR measurements and NEW doorbell model. This plate attaches to your **existing wall holes** and provides the **correct mounting holes for your new doorbell**.
REQUIRED INFO (Provide in Order Notes or via Email/Text):
- Existing Hole Spacing: The EXACT distance (center-to-center) between the current screw holes on your wall. OR Select the Old Doorbell Model From the Selection Set of "OLD DOORBELL MODEL"
- NEW Doorbell Model: The specific Make and Model of the NEW video doorbell you want to install. Select the New Doorbell Model and the holes for the new doorbell will be in the adapter plate. (if new holes are close to old hole the mount may have to be made off center vertically, or you may have to reuse one of the holes and screw directly through the bracket).
Plate size will typically match the size of your new doorbell. Larger plates to cover bigger areas may be possible for an additional cost - please contact us.

- Identify New Doorbell: Know the exact Make and Model of the **new** video doorbell you plan to install (e.g., "Ring Video Doorbell Pro 2", "Google Nest Doorbell Wired 2nd Gen").
- Provide Information: When purchasing this listing, enter BOTH your **existing hole spacing measurement(s)** OR Old Doorbell Model AND the **new doorbell model** in the "Order Notes" section at checkout. Basic Installation Guide

Prep & Power Off: Gather tools (screwdrivers, level, possibly drill for cleaning holes), your new doorbell, this custom plate, and appropriate screws/anchors for attaching the PLATE TO YOUR WALL (wall screws/anchors NOT included).
Turn OFF power to doorbell wiring at the breaker!

Mount Custom Plate: Route wires through the center of the custom plate. Align the plate's **wall-mounting holes** (custom-drilled to your specs) over your existing holes on the wall. Secure the plate firmly using YOUR appropriate screws/anchors.
Ensure plate is level and securely fastened to the wall.
- Wire New Doorbell: Connect wires to your NEW doorbell following its manufacturer's instructions. Tuck excess wire.

Attach New Doorbell to Plate: Align your new doorbell with the **doorbell-specific mounting holes** on the custom adapter plate. Secure the doorbell using the small screws PROVIDED WITH THIS PLATE (likely #4 / PH1 driver or could be #6 which will take a PH2 screwdriver).
Use correct screws/driver. Tighten gently. Do NOT use wall screws here. If screw seems to strip try either a larger or smaller screwdriver.
- Final Check & Power On: Ensure doorbell is secure. Turn power back on and test.
